I've personally never stayed at any other hotel here but this hotel is definitely recommended! The staff are great. Just ask for suggestions or help to reserve/ book anything, they will do it. The beds are comfortable and most importantly the rooms are really clean. But you will need to walk up quite a steep hill before getting to this place. Be prepared with comfortable shoes when you're visiting Kapadokiya.

Room Tip: Try asking for the rooms towards the front of the hotel. They have a problem with flies as some local farmers and their sheeps pass through the back alley of the hotel.

Must experience the cave house accommodations while staying in Goreme!

Sleeping in a cave has improved since the dinosaur age: 1) free breakfast buffets! 2) well kept rooms with jacuzzi and shower facilities 3) complimentary Turkish tea or coffee during the day 4) patio seating to great views 5) service was attentive and courteous 6) responsive via email in helping us book our shuttles to airport, Green Tour on bus and balloon rides

Sleeping in a cave still has some drawbacks 1) Room 359 has it's share of noise since by a parking lot 2) There is a funny stench in the bathroom at times. Keep windows or door open to allow fresh air 3) Arranging our bookings for Green Tour was a little hairy but they drove us to the agency when the tour van had failed to pick us up.

Room Tip: Book reservations for your choice of balloon company and restaurant in advance. They fill up!

Absolutely loved this hotel. It was so much fun to stay in an actual cave hotel while in Cappadocia and I think I made a great choice with the Divan Cave House. Ali and Hanife provided tons of information about what to do in Goreme and helped me really maximize my short three days there. They took care of everything including my airport transfers and were always available whenever I had questions or needed directions somewhere. The room was beautiful and stayed perfectly cool at night despite the heat of the daytime. Goreme is just a stunning town and the hotel had a terrific view over it all.

If you are staying in Cappadocia, Goreme is the best place to stay. In Goreme Divan Cave House is one of the best hotels. It is located just 5 minutes from the centre of Goreme with all nice places to eat and drink nearby. Goreme Museum is a 15 minute walk, its a really scenic walk would recommend everyone to do it. When we checked in we were greeted by Hanife and she showed us our cave room. Its such an experience to stay in a cave room. Its so cosy from inside. The room and bathrooms are pretty spacious and impeccably clean. A swing was located just outside our room. The hotel itself is on a height so it gives a beautiful view of Goreme. Hanife recommended us restaurants for food which were pretty nice, on her recommendation we went for the Green tour which was basically the best way to see Cappadocia. We did a balloon ride as well which was just brilliant, I would recommend everyone visiting, it is once in a lifetime experience, though it burns a hole in your pocket but its completely worth it. Divan Cave House with its cave rooms and hospitality is one of the best hotels to live when in Goreme. Staying here was just brilliant

We had a perfect stay at Divan Cave House and would have loved to have an extra night stay there!

It started before we arrived, as we were enquiring via email to other hotels too, but Hanife replied very quickly with so much helpful information and availability for our stay. When we arrived at 1am, Ali was at the desk and immediately friendly and helpful - recommending that we do the hot air balloon tour the very next morning because the weather was the best. He was absolutely right! Had we have waited until our second day, the balloons didn't go up in the sky due to wind and weather...

The room was fantastic, clean and welcomgin - with a jacuzzi bath too. Unlike others, we didn't have any windows but it meant for the best sleep at any time of day!

The breakfast was GREAT, and Hanife and Ali were so helpful at all points to ensure we fitted in the right excursions and activities for our limited too days.

Highly recommend!
