we had a poor first off experience with royal balloons. first we were picked up at 4.55am only to be taken to breakfast for 50 minutes and then a long drive to our balloon. during this time there was no communication with us at all. we later found out the drive was due to the wind conditions and getting away from other balloons, but after our frustration at having to wake up so early just to spend so long at breakfast, we found the drive frustrating also! our pilot suat made up for our negative early experience. he is very experienced and explained the landscape whole putting everyone at ease. of course the landscape and experience itself was just magical and we thoroughly enjoyed the rode itself. clearer communication at the start would have definitely helped improve the experience.

We were extremely impressed with Royal Balloons; their service was friendly and professional from the minute we asked for information to delivering us safely back on the ground. Being a little nervous and with lots of questions, I called at their office and asked o peak to their Chief Pilot, Suat. A lovely guy who will happily answer any question. He and David were both taking flights the following morning, one with over 20 years experience, the other with 32 years experience.....I already felt in safe hands before we booked! They collected us from our campsite, fed us a lovely breakfast, took us to the launch site where we met David, the pilot and an Aussie (we are Kiwis!). David gave us a truly memorable experience starting in Red valley, showing us dovecotes close up before taking us down into Love Valley and then in to land. Fantastic. Thoroughly recommend this company. All the staff are extremely well trained in customer service and the pilots are clearly very experienced.

This vender is the 'real deal' of ballooning. While there are many options, Royal did a great job. Not rushed. Warm. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Tops.

Taking a balloon flight in Cappadocia is a life experience - a must for anyone visiting the area. With so many balloon companies to choose from, it's hard to know who to pick. We took a Royal King flight with Royal Balloons, with David as our pilot and would highly recommend it. With just 8 of us in a balloon for 12, it was awesome. David took our balloon over several valleys as the sun rose, flying both at altitude and very low to really see the features of the valleys, turning the balloon so we all had amazing views and plenty of chances for our outstanding photo shots. We discovered many of the other companies did not - some just went up and then down (in the same place!) without exploring different valleys, fitting two or even three flights in during the early morning. The pilots point out the key features of the valleys, find excellent photo shots (taking pictures for you of the whole family) and were great with our children (aged 10 and 12), making their first balloon flgiht memorable and extraordinary. The 90 minute flight is a little more expensive but worth every penny - especially if you choose a Royal Balloon flight.
