we had a poor first off experience with royal balloons. first we were picked up at 4.55am only to be taken to breakfast for 50 minutes and then a long drive to our balloon. during this time there was no communication with us at all. we later found out the drive was due to the wind conditions and getting away from other balloons, but after our frustration at having to wake up so early just to spend so long at breakfast, we found the drive frustrating also! our pilot suat made up for our negative early experience. he is very experienced and explained the landscape whole putting everyone at ease. of course the landscape and experience itself was just magical and we thoroughly enjoyed the rode itself. clearer communication at the start would have definitely helped improve the experience.
