“An experience I´ll never forget”
Reviewed 24 October 2012

Dervis, Tamer & Samed: The best family run hotel ever!!! Words fail me. Except for magnificent, wonderful, heart-warming experience I´ll never forget.
They´ll help and advise you from the first moment until you get on the bus to go home. The Hotel is an Alladin’s cave of delights. The decor has been done with care and good taste. Excellent views from the different small, cozy terraces, particularly of Üç Hisar Castle‎; gorgeous at night. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a huge bathrooms. Everything is extremely clean. Breakfasts are fresh and varied of local food. Great location, a 5 minute easy-walk from town through magical streets. You’ll have an experience that will last you a life time. Hope you have a full moon as I did!! You will also love to wake up before sunrise to see the ballons flight!! They look like hanging in front of you, while you drink your coffe.

Negative aspect: I had to leave… and there is no room for this weekend available … (it’s a joke).

Room Tip: English is spoken at the Koza. Ask whatever you need and they'll help you (rooms, balloon flight...

The staff as Koza were so helpful and friendly. Everyone was always smiling. Room was very comfortable and we would have stayed more than 3 nights easily. From father to son and all the relatives, we simply cannot thank them enough for making the Cappadocia part of the holiday such a mermorable experience. Due to weather, our balloon ride had to be cancelled and they ensured we were on the next day, even with a waiting list. Butterfly Balloons was a marvelous experience. The breakfast as Koza and the meals at the adjacent restaurant were delicious and always served with a smile. We highly recommend Koza for a stay in Cappadocia and must stress that a miniumum of three night is absolutely necessary. Glad we did our homework on that... We had a car but could have done without and taken tours. But we found some spots by car that we never would have seen on a tour... Of course, it depends on ones tastes.. We just like to go out and about on our own. Tours are easily available from Koza. They wil book them for you. Canada

Room Tip: It was nearly all booked when we reserved months in advance - but with cancellations we were lucky t...

I don't know where to begin. 1: Incredibly helpful - had a flat tire - there son enthusiastically drove with my husband to the nearest town and sort help to get the tyre fixed late on Saturday afternoon (4 hours) - 2: they recommended Butterfly Ballooning - wow - the rooms were spectacular - no TV or Phones - but the bathroom in our room was magical 3: Breakfasts just lovely 4: the staff - the most incredibly helpful I have come across - this would indeed by my only choice for Goreme - it was recommended by a friend in Australia and was truly enjoyable - we extended out stay!

Room Tip: We had a downstairs room - it was great and the terrace for sundowners was lovely.

We stayed at the Koza Cave Hotel with my sister-in-law and her husband for 2 nights, and had 2 rooms:one just next to the reception (sorry, forgot what its called, but it was a big room) and the other was the Stable (it isn't a stable, its a lovely room, which was converted from a stable, of course). The family was incredibly hospitable and service was outstanding. We developed a real bond with them, and were very touched by their generosity and kindness during our trip. It is a family run business, with everyone chipping in. They all speak wonderful English, which made all communication a breeze. We shared an evening of wine tasting/drinking with them, and were thoroughly blown away by the owner's generosity. They introduced us to family and friends during our trip. We now feel as if we have family and friends in Turkey. Koza was the highlight of our trip to Turkey. Istanbul was nice, but not exactly what we expected, plus the haggling with vendors at the markets was so stressful. Thank you to Devrish and his family for making our trip so memorable.

Room Tip: If you are quite tall, the Stable is a good room. Because these are cave rooms, some areas can be a...

We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel for four nights. The rooms are immaculate and cozy....done in tastefully modern and antique decor. The location is excellent....close enough to walk to the charming town, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity and beauty of this unique landscape. The morning breakfasts are good and can be enjoyed from the outside terraces overlooking the fairy castles. Everything is good here, but the best thing is the one-on-one attention given to each guest, from everything to suggestions on what to do and see to arranging a rental car or a balloon ride, which, by the way is not to be missed. This is a family owned and run business and that shows through in every aspect. Three generations work here and each one of them go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We were sorry to leave here when the time came to depart, but we had to head to Istanbul, and while there in that big, crowded, noisy city we longed for the four lovely, peaceful days we spent in this paradise!

Room Tip: We had a peek here at several rooms and you can't go wrong with any of them.....each one is uniq...
