“Fantastic hotel and a friendly staff”
Reviewed 10 May 2013

Recently got back from my trip to Turkey and stayed at Koza for a couple of nights while in Cappadocia.

The hotel was beautiful. Nice mix of old charm and luxury. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the area.

Room Tip: We stayed in the King's suite. Given the price and the luxury of the room (private balcony, jacu...

This was our favorite hotel in Turkey. It was a novel experience to stay in a cave, which was spacious and beautifully furnished, not cramped. The staff made us coffee and tea whenever, which was nice. We enjoyed hiking right from the hotel (Pigeon Valley, Rose Valley (my favorite), and Love Valley). The hotel arranged our balloon flight with Mustafa from Butterfly Balloons, who was a wonderful pilot and also very funny.
The hotel has an arrangement with the restaurant next door, which is excellent, for reduced prices.
We went with friends (two couples and one single) and all of us enjoyed it. Also, if you pay in cash, you get a discount.
We highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this charming hotel for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. The family who run this hotel really go out of their way to make you feel at home, and they really did achieve this in our case..... we did not want to leave. We did not have one of the biggest rooms, but it was quite adequate for us and beautifully decorated. The location of the hotel is very good with a short walk down into the town. Breakfast was good and they supplied us with many cups of tea when we sat on the balcony. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay there again. Loved the gardening chats with Sam!

We just stay at the Koza Cave Hotel. The overall service was outstanding. This is a family business. They are very friendly and we appreciate very much their hospitality. They arrange for one of their relatives, Mustafa, to drive us around the area and he did a great job and was very helpful. He went out of his way to assist us and make sure we enjoy our stay. The rooms are unique and they keep them very clean. The breakfast was excellent. We will love to go back again to this great hotel. Thanks for making our stay in Cappadocia a unique experience!!!,
Olga and Orlando

We stayed in the King Suite which was absolutely superb. The decoration is classy, with most of the furniture having been handmade by the owner. The spa bath is divine, after a hard days walking through the magnificent landscape of Goreme. Location is everything and Koza being at the top of a hill looks down across the town to the East and looks West across the fairy chimneys. It is worth getting out of bed early, around six o'clock, to go to the top terrace where the spectacular view of 90+ hot air balloons rise in front of you before passing over your head into the valley of chimneys. The most spectacular, stunning and classy cave in existence.

The Koza Cave Hotel sets the stage for the many fabulous experiences that are available in Goreme and the surrounding area of Cappadocia. From the start I was extremely impressed by the friendliness of the family who own and operate the hotel, and I enjoyed their generous, warm hospitality. Each morning's breakfast was absolutely delicious, complete with homemade features that added a personal, local touch. My guestroom was spacious and beautifully furnished, and it perfectly captured the spirit, culture, and history of the region. The Koza Cave Hotel provides a wonderfully unique experience that greatly enriched my visit to Cappadocia!
