Koza Cave was the highlight of our Turkey accommodations. The Dural Family welcomed our foursome. Samed juggled the many duties of chief administrator: check-in, check-out, arranging tours, giving directions, serving tea and assisting with boarding passes. He is proficient in English, Dutch, Turkish (of course) - and IT. Samed is assisted by his uncle, Mustafa, and his mother, aunt, sister and dad. His dad designed and built the hotel improvements over five years. It is masterfully crafted. Rooms are all a unique combination of carved and block tuffa; and provide all the modern. energy-efficient amenities one might need. Private bathrooms are clean and luxurious. Several outside patios and decks provide views of the surround hills of Cappadocia and opportunities to mingle with other guests. The breakfast is abundant, fresh and delicious; and the coffee was second only to Samed's cousin's (Abas) espresso and latte served down the hill in town. I would return to Turkey just to stay at Koza Cave; is that recommendation enough?
