I cannot say enough good things about Koza Cave Hotel. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Sam and Mustafa are amazing hosts and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Be sure to watch the sunset from one of the several roof top terraces...enjoying the view with a glass of wine was a highlight of my trip.

We truly loved our stay at Koza. Koza is a family run hotel. We stayed in a cave room that was spacious, clean, and creatively designed (was previously someone's home and a winery converted into a hotel). I also liked the fact that they kept the original architecture of the cave home intact. The decor from furnishings to plants, and home accents added a very nice touch. Ask the staff to see before and after pictures. It's really amazing what they did!

The staff including Samed, his brother, and Dervish and his wife and Mustafa were very friendly and made us feel at home. They were helpful in providing maps and information on excursions, shows, etc. When we needed to go to the pharmacy, Samed gave us a ride into town so we could make it before closing time. The hotel provided free water and tea which was a plus. Breakfast was bountiful and very good and you can request an omelet from the cook if you like. We really enjoyed our stay at Koza and we will definitely stay here again during our next stay. By the end of our trip we were super sad to leave because they felt like family.

Room Tip: Choose the cave rooms. Super cool and worth it!

There are so many different accommodation options in Goreme, but when we left Koza Cave we were delighted to have chosen to stay there. The staff are wonderfully accommodating, whether making sure you catch your tour bus, airport transfer, or waking up at the crack of dawn to update you on the balloon flight status.

The rooms themselves are wonderful and spacious. Living in a cave for a few days was certainly a unique experience. The bathroom is almost like having your own hamami as well. The only downside to the cave is a lack of light (tricky if you wear contacts...) and a fairly damp interior after a shower (as the bathroom is quite open without real ventilation).

Otherwise a very surreal experience in a very surreal place. Beautiful views over the city from the top deck with an Efes playing backgammon as the sun sets behind the fairy chimneys - what more could you ask for?

We had an absolutely magical time in Goreme that was due in large part to the hospitality at Koza Cave Hotel. It truly feels like your home away from home. The family that runs it takes great pride in making you feel right at home and taking care of your every need. The rooms were charming but who wants to be in a room when there are a couple of options right outside your door to sit outside, relax and enjoy the spectacular view with a glass of Turkish wine. The breakfast was delicious and filling and we couldn't have asked for more with our stay at Koza. My only regret of our entire vacation to Turkey was not staying another night at Koza.

This hillside cave hotel was great! The family who owns it is delightful, friendly, accommodating and go above and beyond in their efforts to serve the guest. We were a group of 8 friends traveling together and all felt welcomed into their family! They made arrangements for us to take a balloon ride, a tour and helped us find excellent places to eat. The 4 rooms we stayed in were spotless, nicely decorated and all unique. A lovely and memorable stay...

I must say our stay at the Koza Cave Hotel took our stay in Goreme to a whole new level of brilliance. The Dural family were wonderful hosts -- full of inside advice on things to do and always good for a chat. The hotel has been loving restored and the warmth and charm really does come through. The rooms are spacious, full of character and yes, romantic! Cappadocia was the highlight of our 10 day Turkey trip and our stay in Koza the absolute best we experienced in Turkey.

We absolutely loved this hotel! From the room, to the delightful terraces, to the excellent service, and the family staff, everything was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We were so comfortable and relaxed here, it made us not want to leave Goreme. The restaurant next door was fantastic, too! Highly recommend and hope to have the chance to visit again.
