“Maybe the best host ever”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

The food and service was excellent. We stayed in the local cave hotel walking distance to Sedef. Our host was an expert at hospitality.

“Came here twice”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

We came here twice by accident. Food wasn't special and there were many flies around from their plants. But prices and reasonable and service quite quick.

“Good setting, ok food, expensive”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

At Sedef, the overall experience was nice, the service was good but a tad bit slow. We tried their testi kebap, a dish served in an earthen vessel that is cracked open to reveal the dish. Along with this we had another chicken dish. This one was to come with rice which they didn’t bring to the table until reminded. The place is priced on the higher side and those with an Indian palate might not enjoy the bland taste much. The portions didn't justify the price.
The complimentary lavash (bread) Sedef serves is the best we have eaten across all Turkey.

“Scrumptious meals”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Had dinner here. The food is lovely. Large spread of items appear before the meal. Salads, breads, dips and much more. Lentil soups are very nice. It has an inside and out area as well.

“Fun, delicious dinning”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

Our host Oruc from Caravanseri Hotel, recommended this restaurant. We enjoyed a tasty meal, which was served with style. The complimentary bread, is fun, you need to make it go flat before eating, and as it arrives very inflated..it was unique experience. The clay cooking pot that is cut open for the diner was also fun. A good not expensive dinner.
