“Great hike”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

Beautiful hike! Although crazy hot I would suggest bringing a umbrella to help keep the sun off you while hiking.

“ATV'ing the, Town, Valleys, & Ridges around Goreme, Turkey”
Reviewed 25 July 2013

If you have some type of limited mobility like can't walk far, bad knee, ankle, heart condition, or whatever this is the way to see the valleys. If its hot out, hiking can very uncomfortable, so you can ride ATV's throughout the town and the countryside. A guide is not required, but we chose to take one. Our guide was the business owners nephew. He was a very nice kid, polite, spoke good English, and he was very flexible allowing us to cut off and see areas we were interested in, but also made sure we visited the best locations for views and photos. Our total cost for the ATV rental & guide was 160 Turkish Lira which is less than 80 dollars. We were also provided cool water and Turkish Tea as all business provide that. If we ever visit this area again we would repeat the ATV trip. Goreme Town and the whole Cappadocia area has an abundance of things to see, do, and enjoy. If you are visiting Turkey do not pass up this place. We were here with our Daughter, Son-in-law, and three granddaughters. It was a wonder trip to share together.

“Place to visit”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

Interesting place to see how people lived, well worth the 8 Lira entrance fee. You can spend a few hours walking round.
