Make a reservation to come to Topdeck Cave Restaurant - it booked out all of the nights I spent in Göreme. I found food in Turkey on the whole to be a disappointment, but Topdeck Cave Restaurant was the biggest exception. The chicken borek starter was the best borek I have ever tried, and I had a great vegetarian stew and homemade baklava. The local white wine was also excellent. This is a family-run restaurant and I was impressed by the waitressing teenage daughter of the family who spoke excellent English and explained all the dishes eloquently.
