We are just back from a 3 night stay at the Safran Cave and what a stay it was. From the check in to check out they could not have made our stay any better. Where to start we had a warm and friendly check in from Veli who was very knowledgeable on the sites and what to do, where to go etc, so much so he helped us organise our private tour of all the sites for not much more than the group tour costs charged by the many travel agents in town. But far more personal with no clock watching at the individual sites to try and fit everything in also as dean6420 Veli also booked our balloon flight and airport transfers in fact they will try and fulfil any reasonable request made by a guest so just ask.
This is a family run hotel and this really shows with the care and attention shown from the delicious breakfast with home made jams, butter and fruit grown in the owners garden quality stands out.
We stayed in one of the cave rooms which was full of character and not a word I usually use for a room but Romantic hits the spot.
My wife will also have the memory of sitting topping and tailing green beans with the owners wife who was warm and friendly We will certainly be returning to Cappadocia in the future and we know exactly where we will be booking the Safran Cave.

Room Tip: A Cave room is a must they are superb

A brilliant 2 day stay in a hotel situated close to the centre of Goreme where many tourist attractions are a short drive away. The staff are extremely helpful and can tell you about the different places to see and activities such as quad biking and hot air balloon rides, even giving/organising travel to and from sites. The room itself is very spacious, clean and well maintained.

Overall, as a family of 4 we loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Manager was so helpful with booking our balloon flight as well as with all transfers and anything else we needed during our stay. Room was very comfortable for the couple of nights we were in Goreme and the buffet breakfast provided in the morning was more than substantial!

We have just left Safran Cave hotel, after a wonderful 2 day experience. It is a family run hotel, and the care and attention to detail are amazing.
Upon arrival they were helping other guests sort out their itinerary. So they gave us a welcome drink and handed us the keys to our room to settle in at 11am, we could deal with the details later. That is after we walked into town and had lunch.
The room itself a deluxe cave suite was way more than the photo's depict, the 4 of us loved our "living in a cave experience".
The courtyard was warm and homely, we sat here for breakfast and to enjoy a home made 3 course dinner from Mum, which was delicious. This was of course at a time that suited us, as when we sat down to work out the details, we added a 2 hour sunset quad bike ride to our itinery - which to was fantastic.
What was also really nice, is that we had a 4.20am start to go hot air ballooning ( Butterfly balloons whom they recommend were exceptional) and they were their to waves us off and make sure everything was in order. This occurred again the next morning when we had a 6am shuttle to the airport, all organised through them prior to our trip. Veli has wonderful English and helped us from the other side of the world to organise a magical adventure. The service they gave whilst we were there was just so friendly, they really made you feel like family and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend staying here to anyone and let them help you organise everything, with faith to know it is all going to happen. Thanks so much from The Hill on Hopes - 2 adults and 2 teenagers

Excellent location, clean hotel, good breakfast with homemade cheese and gozleme. Fresh wallnuts from their gardens. Simply value for money. The hotel is very close to the bus station and currency exchange outlets.

Small family run hotel offering extremely, helpful, friendly and personal service. Nice rooms for the money with comfy beds, air con, wifi and big walk in showers. Attractive courtyard where the exvellent breakfast is served. You can also opt for a home cooked dinner at very reasonable cost: Recommended as was delicious and plentiful and better than at the restaurants. The location is also perfect, just metres from the town but up a relatively quiet side street. We really enjoyed our stay and loved everything about Cappadocia. Would highly recommend both the hotel and the area.
