“Worthy of Architectural Digest!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2011

It was snowing when we visited Cappadocia and we were so hoping we would get snowed in so that we could linger longer in the luxury of our cave suite! The amenities of the suite were outstanding (light therapy jacuzzi, heated floors, mini bar, king bed, wash cloths) along with tasteful local decor made the suite superb. We were also truly pampered by the 5 star rock star treatment we received from Mustafa, the dining room waiter extraordinaire! His personal attention to us rivaled our experience at exclusive US dining clubs. We enjoyed a phenomenal meal orchestrated by Mustafa that was a highlight of our trip to Istanbul. Bravo to Bora (the owner) for his superlative dedication to providing an outstanding hotel experience to his guests. We will return and can't wait to enjoy the pool and spa under construction! My partner and I spent about 4 days in one of the best cave hotels in Cappadocia. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We arrived early one moning, and I was almost sure that we'd get our room only by 12 noon. But to our surprise, we had our room ready n no time. The rooms were small, yet it had a very cosy atmosphere. Also, on the day of our check out, we got to spend time in our room till it was time to board our bus. Thanks to the hotel manager. I also got private cooking lessons from the head chef Mustafa. Very thoughtful of him to undestand what we wanted, and make food that appealed to our palate. Overall, a must -stay cave hotel if one is visiting Cappadocia, and for us personally, we loved every minute of our stay there. Would love to go back soon.
Cheers! And keep up the good work.

We arrived very early in the morning and even though we didn't expect our room to be ready, we decided to give it a go as we were very tired from our early flight. The lady at the reception asked us to wait for a short while and offered us breakfast and coffee / tea whilst waiting. About half an hour later our room was ready and we were kindly upgraded from the Cappadocian Deluxe II category which we had booked to the Cappadocian Deluxe I. The room was a lovely cave room, it was bright and airy and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and we had no complaints throughout our stay. Hotel doesn't charge for water from the minibar which was nice. We had Tripadvisor's free bottle of wine voucher which we presented at check in and when we asked, they said we could just drink the small bottle of wine from the minibar. The wine was lovely, but I'd expected a full bottle when the voucher advertised a free bottle of wine but maybe it was just me :) I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Cappadocia is a magical place and is all about the fairy chimneys and the caves within them. One of the key travel destinations in life I think - up there with the Fyords of Norway. Of course while there you must stay in a cave - a key part of the experience. Many hotels 'say' they are in caves but Cappadocia cave suites is the genuine item. Exactly how you imagine it, yet with perfectly balanced luxury fittings. Very warm and cozy. Amazing views from the room and a perfect breakfast (order an omelette). The staff were extremely helpful. All up superb!!

p.s. When we were leaving I looked up at the fairy chimney we were staying in and I noticed (what appeared to be) pre-Byzantine church cave drawings in the cave at the top of the chimney - sooooooooo cool!!

We stayed 3 days in the Cappadocia Cave Suites. Outside it was very cold but inside the rooms were very comfortable. Especially the yacuzzi was a luxury to warm after a cold day outside. The hotel has very special and original cave rooms and the architecture is very well tought through. Also the view is magnificient: right on the fairy chimneys. The village of Göreme with nice restaurants and cafe's is just a minute walk away. We will definitely recommend this hotel and go back in the future.

I've been reading reviews and wonder if we stayed at the same hotel the complainers did. Staff were warm and helpful, food great, room terrific....Only negative was that we had to leave. I'd still be there if I could afford it. Do yourselves a favor : check it out and check in. You'll be glad you did.
