The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are large, the showers are indeed outstanding (as noted in other reviews), the terrace is pleasant, Mustafa is extremely nice and helpful, and the price is very reasonable. What's not to like? I have spent a lot of time in Cappadocia over the last ~20 years, and this is one of the few hotels I would return to for another stay.

We stayed in Arch Palace Hotel for 3 nights, in one of the ground floor doubleroom (an arch room).

For a hotel that has received so many positive review, Arch Palace certainly did not disappoint.

Mustafa was a wonderful host. For a sceptical traveller like me who is sometimes wary of hotel 'recommendations', I was very impressed with Mustafa's suggestions, all of which was appropriate to our needs, good values and of an extremely high quality.

Arch Palace was much more than just the helpful host. I was particularly impressed by the other supporting staff. They were courteous and always willing to go out of their way to help, gaving us 5-star hotel treatment for the duration of our stay.

The downstairs double-room we stayed in was cool and dark, which was actually very welcoming in the hot climate. You can hear some noise from the small side street and the prayer call from mosque but those were minimal and didn't bother us. The room was not massive but was spotless and comfortable. The showers were hot and the bed was comfy. We were glad that we chose an arch room instead of a cave hotel as the high ceilings were very welcoming afte visiting so many caves during the day.

The Hotel was situated behind the high street on a hill. This provided us with a beautiful sunset view from the roof terrace.

The only thing which I felt could be improved were:
- weak wi-fi signals in some of the rooms
- small wardrobe space
However, these did not distract my overal positive experience and I would happily stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms on first floor maybe larger, sunnier and with less street noise.

We had a wonderful stay at Arch, beginning with Mustafa, the more than helpful owner, to the AMAZING shower, the delicious breakfast, and the very convenient location. We had booked a double, but were given a large room for four, very spacious, super clean, nicely decorated. Arch has also an inviting terrace, where we spent some time reading and relaxing. A minor issue was the call to prayer from the mosque just across the street. From our room it was quite loud, but, as I said, it was a minor issue; sometimes we were sleeping so deep that we wouldn't even hear it. About not being a cave hotel, we were actually pleased by it after we saw the cave hotels live. In our opinion, they looked a little bit claustrophobic, and we didn't feel they had a lot of character. The whole cave hotels thing seemed a little overstated to us. Strongly recommend Arch, and will stay there again if we return to Cappadocia.

We had read about how helpful the owner of the Arch Palace, Mustafa, is. We also saw how one well-known guide book thought the hotel had worn carpets and a lack of atmosphere. Well, they are wrong.

Mustafa is a wonderful host, very knowledgeable about the area and always ready to help. My wife and I have reached the age known as senior citizens (sniff) and Mustafa took that into account when he arranged two full-day tours with a rented car and driver for us. Also, he drove us himself to the Open-Air Museum and back. He knows everything about the area. He also recommended the wonderful Topdeck Restaurant to us and actually walked us up there the first evening.

Our room was spacious and bright and had a lovely bathroom. Views from the rooftop are wonderful and breakfast was excellent.

What more could we want?

Room Tip: Ask for one of the bigger rooms on the second floor.

We stayed 3 days at The arch palace.

The host and staff provided an excellent service to us. Mustafa is an honest guy who is really helpful. He provided us with walking routes, advice, picked us up when needed and organised our shuttle bus to the airport and our green tour.

We were the last to check in, so we got quite a dark room but it was in good decor. This was the only down point.

The wifi was good, rooms were thoroughly cleaned. Location is very central . Hotel offers good value for money.

The Arch Palace hotel is not a cave hotel which most people choose to stay in Goreme. It's not a good looking hotel, and in fact it looks quite ordinary.

What is extra-ordinary is the quality of service from Mustafa and his crew which was absolutely the best I have experienced in Turkey. Everything he suggested turned out to be a great experience. He has a rare quality to really understand what a traveler needs.

Thank you Mustafa!
I have used trip advisor for over 6 years now and up until now i have never written a review... some of my stays were amazing some were terrible but still none motivated me to write a review!
Arch Palace however deserves special note, not for the view (which is amazing), not for great room (ask for 201) and not for the breakfast (fresh and tasty) but because every now and then as you travel you come across a person who genuinely and honestly motivates you to have faith in the notion that hotel owners actually care about there guests, are in no way trying to scam you and love to help people purely because you selected them over so many other possible hotels in Göreme.
Mustafa at Arch Palace is one shining example of such a person - he recommended a great tour, arranged our bike hire, recommended the best Meze plate i have had after 4 weeks in Turkey and sent my shoes (in 2 days) to Istanbul after i left them on his balcony.
There is a reason why this is the highest rated hotel in Göreme and if you want to have more then just a bed then i would strongly recommend you do everythimg you can to stay with Mustafa at Arch Palace.
