We had a great stay at Arch Palace. A cosy and welcoming hotel with the best personnel ever! From the very first moment that we entered this place we were treated well to the moment we left. Everything from renting a car to planing tours was taken care by the staff with the lowest price possible. Bottom line: if I happen to go to Göreme again, I will definitely stay here again.

We arrived late at night and they were still nice and pleasant. Encouraged us to book a balloon ride with Turkiye balloons, which was the most amazing experience of my life, you really can't miss it , and words do not do justice.
The rooms are warm, breakfast is delicious, eggs cooked perfectly, I was bit pushed to do any tours, they even gave us an itinerary to do alone with our car.

We would definitely go back!

Getting the right guidance and that too with consideration, a welcoming smile and an excellent host. Mustafa, owner of this hotel is the best. He helped us book and board an excellent balloon ride in a small basket which is most fun in the wee hours against the rising sun colored horizon with hundreds to differently colored ballons all competing with each other to get nearest to a fairy chimney. Guided us to good places to eat sumptuous vegetarian food. We loved it!!!

we loved staying at arch palace. It was warm, with very big rooms and friendly staff. decor is beautiful and the terrace up top is gorgeous. Only thing I would add is that the owner is a boisterous man that loves to chat especially if he can get some business out of it. he's a good man, just don't expect a quiet breakfast in the dining area if he's in your midst.

Nice hotel quite centrally located in Göreme. Very warm rooms (important in winter!), very clean, although some problems with the bathroom (violent but not convenient ceiling light, water everywhere on the floor, etc.). Great breakfast with a beautiful view on Göreme. The manager can organize virtually anything for you; this is actually both positive and negative. His prices seem to be higher than average, and he almost pushes you (though not too obviously) to buy his balloon flights and tours.

We returned to Turkey for a brief holiday after a trip to Europe. We were travelling with some friends who had never seen Cappadocia and I insisted they had to visit it as my memories of this place were magical! Having been to Goreme before I could not believe the number of hotels now in Goreme compared to what there were a few years ago. We chose Arch Palace as a less expensive option and were very pleasantly surprised. It is an older style hotel with lots of character. The rooms were very comfortable and warm for the cool evenings. The terrace has a wonderful view of the village and is a great way to lap up the sun on a cool winter's day. I imagine on a summer's evening it would be a gorgeous place to enjoy a beer. The breakfast was plentiful and my children loved the pancakes! The hotel is close to the Centre and a gentle up hill walk. From what I can gather there are new owners, both of whom are locals and have lots of experience running hotels. Both of the owners were friendly, relaxed and full of practical information about what to do. Their approach is not pushy at all. Denis is hilarious and very hospitable. My children loved him and he was very keen to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The other owner Orac was charming and gave my friends lots of info about what to see and do in Cappadocia, and Turkey for that matter. This hotel is not flashy but it delivers on friendliness with its' only negative being close to the mosque! But it is hard to avoid it in a small town in Turkey. Goreme still has it's magic and this hotel is part of it.

My 3 sisters and I arrived at the Arch Palace hotel tired from the overnight bus from Istanbul at 8.30 am and were met by Mustafa, who immediately installed us in 2 rooms, upgrades from the basic doubles we had originally booked. If you have had ever had to wait until 4 pm to get into your room, you will understand how great this was. Mind you we were visiting in late September and the hotel was quite quiet.
As other reviewers have said, Mustafa excelled as " guide" to restaurants and places to go. We were looking for more out of the way places to visit and he came up with some great ideas. Also set us up with an excellent driver, Mehmet, who took us on a days private tour for a very reasonable price. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. For a middle of the range price with the view from the balcony and the wonderful power showers we couldn't have been happier. No need to go for the fancier cave hotels . Simple Turkish breakfast, but we liked being able to go upstairs I make tea morning and night, and the honor system for getting beer and water from the fridge.

Room Tip: Small twin budget rooms looked very nice, although smaller than the one we had on the second floor...
