Evil eye was a nice change from Turkish food. It came close to an Asian experience which made it a nice choice. The chef was sweet and very accommodating. I had kimchee cucumbers were very good. The corn salad was a lovely surprise as well as the roasted glazed peanuts. The burgogi was served on a bed of rice was excellent.

We were looking for some spicy food in Cappadocia and this restaurant met our needs, Recommended for those looking for more Asian, HOT food. The view from the restaurant is great too, we would eat here again if ever we are visiting these parts again.

After a short time in Goreme, you realize there are few options beside Kebobs, casseroles, lentil soup, clay pot etc., and pizza. Mustafa Yildiz knows this, so he offers the only Korean food in town. He's a smart man!

The bibimbap will taste like heaven. The ramen looks pretty spicy. It's not fast service - when I was there, it was just Mustafa (owner & chef) and another guy (doesn't speak English very well, but is calm under pressure). Give these two a break and be patient. If there's a crowd and you're really hungry, maybe another kebob down the street will have to do until later.

We were traveling Europe for a month and really wanted to have some good Asian food. We were so happy to find this restaurant in Cappadocia, we didn't expect to find any Asian food here! It's a nice cosy place, perhaps the only one open on the 2nd floor in the middle of town. They've both indoor and outdoor sitting.

The chef owner was born and grew up in Goreme and having learnt how to cook Korean food in Korea for 3 years, he's back to open this restaurant! The pork chiggae wasn't available and seem to make other customers upset, but being culturally sensitive, we understand it will be almost impossible to get pork in a Muslim country. We ate in a big Chinese restaurant in Istanbul... even they don't serve pork! I'm sure the chef tried his best to make it as close to the original as he can using the ingredients he can get.

Being from Singapore, we're rather used to higher restaurant prices in town. So average price of usd15 per Korean dish may seem expensive compared to local standard, but I think this price is reasonable for something rare and hard to find in this part of the world. Besides, I think the chef really got the spiciness level right for the pickles and bibimbap sauce. It's as hot as how the Koreans like it! The owner was also very kind to offer us free tea both times we were there, and shared with us a little of Goreme culture :)
