Everywhere you look is amazing in Goreme.... It's out of this world... The national park is just so beautiful.... So the same but so incredibly different. We spent four days in Goreme and wish we had more.... Just amazing..... One of my favourite places on the planet

My girlfriend and I climbed a hill down the road from the open air museum (next to the big parking lot where one of the balloon companies was meeting, a horse ranch, and a pottery shop) at around 6 am to watch the balloons float over the horizon. There were dozens, maybe a hundred of them, and after they floated past us we got in our rental car to chase them all the way to Urgup.

Fantastic, magical place! A must see in Turkey! The Open Air Museum and wandering in the valleys around Goreme were really interesting.

I would stay in a cave hotel, theres plenty there. Also make a trip in the hot air balloons! You won't be disappointed
