Very pleasant surprise. Normally check trip advisor before eating, but just went in on spec and had an excellent meal, kids loved the food too. Very reasonable prices too.

“Best restaurant in Göreme”
Reviewed 15 May 2014 via mobile

The staff were very friendly and talkative. They gave us complimentary çay and rice pudding for desert which was too kind of them. The food was great, the service was great, overall a lovely place to eat! Special thanks to Zaki who was serving us and also asked if we needed a place to pray because we are Muslim :)

“The best meal I had in Goreme”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

I stayed in Goreme for 4 nights, tried multiple restaurants for lunch and dinners. I enjoyed this restaurant the most. It may not have been mentioned by travel books or Tripadvisor yet, but we found this the most delicious. The Testi was the best.

The staff is super friendly. Went there there twice with friends and everything was really tasty, good portions, and it was cheap. Try the bake rice pudding for desert

“very average experience”
Reviewed 8 May 2014 via mobile

We went to this place in the evening for dinner and were very disappointed. The setting was quite appealing, with wooden-fired mangal outside. The meze was good, the main course food however was very mediocre. We ordered guvech and lamb kebab in a clay pot which was advertised "as the best in the city". The lamb meat was very difficult to chew, apparently it was either old or improperly cooked, definitely not for 3 hrs as needed.
Be aware, the restaurant doesn't have a license to sell alcohol, you can only oder water or juice here.
Resume: not worth spending your time and money.
