Travelling with a group of couples we found this hotel online through Booking.com and had no idea what to expect as it was our first time in the area. After corresponding with Serkan to arrange a shuttle from the airport to the hotel we were already very pleased with the service offered and prompt responses via email. Based on the very competitive pricing compared to some other hotels we were not sure what level of hotel we should expect. No trouble with the transport at all - we arrived to find our group name on a sign with the driver right outside the airport. After a little bit of a drive we arrived at Harman and were very pleased with the splendour of this boutique sized hotel (18 rooms I believe). We were checked in promptly and with a great deal of courtesy even though we arrived late in the evening. The property is amazing and very well appointed with old artifacts and a very natural and authentic cave and stone setting. Our room was impeccable, the cave/stone architecture had been done perfectly to match the surroundings. A very large washroom with walk in shower, toilet/bidet combo and vanity (not to mention a towel warmer if required). The room has a safe, minibar, flat screen tv and plenty of space for luggage. On the second floor of the hotel we walked out to the large patio area which served as a great meeting point for our group and offered awesome views of the balloons in the early morning and the surrounding caves and hillsides.
This hotel offers a Turkish breakfast included in the rate and the food offered was perfect to start your day off (especially the Turkish pancakes). I believe there are 6 staff members working for the hotel so you get to know everyone very quickly and encounter the same staff day in and day out. They are very good at suggesting local tours or restaurants and we never missed with these recommendations. The staff are all very attentive and more than happy to help with whatever requests you might have. A couple of our rooms on the 2nd floor were a little warm on night one and after speaking to the owner he promptly went and purchased floor fans for us. This was all that was required for a very comfortable sleep on nights two and three and we really appreciated his prompt response to our request.
We really felt the location of the hotel was perfect. Located up a cobblestone road on the side of the hills surrounding the town, the location provided an amazing view. Whether watching the balloons in the mornings, sitting out for a coffee or beverage in the afternoon or seeing the sun go down I couldn't have asked for more. The only drawback is looking out over the rooftop of the hotel in front of Harman (which is not nearly as nice) which takes away from the view somewhat. The patio still affords the opportunity to take amazing photographs and enjoy the sun throughout the day. This hotel does not have a restaurant but is within simple walking distance of some amazing eateries in town. A short walk down the hill puts you right in the centre of Goreme and gives access to restaurants, cafes, shops, tour companies and anything else you might desire. I would definitely sacrifice an in town location for the short walk back up to Harman where you have unparalleled views. If we were ever to return to Cappadocia we would definitely stay at Harman again.

Room Tip: As far as noise we did have some issues on night one with dogs barking down in the valley below whic...

This hotel opened in early 2014. The rooms are impeccable and beautifully styled with "cave" walls/ceilings. We stayed for 3 nights in 2 rooms. We upgraded to the cave suite when it became available on our final night. It was like a dream, with a tiny patio with cushions and an amazing view, and archeological dig site at the foot of the bed (you can see in photos online), a little sultan alcove with cushions rather than chairs, and a desk, sitting area, fireplace, safe, shower in bathroom. Our first hotel room was on 2 levels - the bed/sitting area as you entered (very high ceilings) and a massive bathroom with jacuzzi on a lower level. Both rooms were impeccably clean. There is a 2,000 foot patio with a 180 degree view of gorgeous Capadoccian mountains. This hotel is built at the top of a large hill, so it truly is an awe inspiring view. An excellent breakfast was included, and there was a generous buffet of nuts, fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, pancakes, drinks and more. The staff was very professional and really went above and beyond to make us feel like very important guests, arranging all transfers and activities. Great location - 5 minute walk to the main part of town (Goreme) and the owner drove us places a couple of times. The owner put a lot of thought into every light fixture, objets d'art, placement of the many outdoor couch areas, plants, pictures, furniture to create a historic boutique feel. Will stay here in the future. Call the hotel directly for more information.

Room Tip: Cave room was splendid. Saw a few different rooms. All were jaw dropping.

Stayed for six nights, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. As you would expect from a new hotel the rooms are immaculate - out of curiosity we inspected several different rooms, including the cave rooms. The hotel staff are an absolute delight. Regardless of the staff on at the time, they all knew our movements, provided excellent advice on seeing the sites, assisting with tours and making restaurant bookings for us. On top of this our flight was delayed without any contact from the airline. To our surprise the staff and the airport transfer company alerted us to this and were very helpful in organising an alternative flight. Breakfast is lovely in a room with panoramic views and the wifi is strong and reliable. The owner was on-site frequently and made us feel very welcome.

This is really neat hotel. I could not believe it was so beautiful plus it is within 5-10 minute walk from restaurants, grocery store.

North and South Cappadocia tour buses will readily pick you up from this hotel, no problem. Also, balloon tours also give ride to this hotel.

There is high end restaurant called Seten (right next to this hotel) which was nice and served great wine. Surprisingly, Cappadocia produces decent/balanced wines.

We flew to Kayseri airport from Istanbul. It is about an hour of drive from Kayseri.

Breakfast is great.

WiFi works fine.

You should see its tiles and rails, decoration, lighting fixtures -- so tastefully built and decorated. Owner was once guide himself and a teacher. He built it on his own. Obviously very creative guy.

I stayed here for 2 nights and can't recommend this place enough. This hotel is so homely! recently refurbished stunning cave rooms and most important - they're clean and spacious. Each room is tastefully decorated with beautiful wooden furniture.

The view from this hotel is breathtaking as its located higher up on the slopes. The staff are very very friendly and the owner really treats his guests like family. I wish I had stayed here longer. The breakfast area is lovely with a great spread of fresh fruits. They also let me make my own Omelet - which was really nice as they all loved it when I was cooking..

Guess the room rate will vary based on what you select. I paid through a travel agency - but rooms start at Euro 80 per night.

The owner was kind enough to drive us to our Hamman appointment down the hill as well as for dinner the next day to one of the restaurants in the area.

Again, highly recommend this hotel! clean, friendly staff and perfect spot!

They had excellent breakfast with gozleme and cookies. Room was clean and large enough. The landscape from terrace and view from restaurant were unforgatable.

To get a complete relax and view in Capadocia, stay at Harman Cave Hotel. Everything was perfect, the room, clean, clear and with a wonderful view. Service was great and the receptionist very kind and helpful. We also met the owner, great man, very close to his workers and guests. The breakfast was abundant and delicious with a better view from the dining room.
At all times you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the view of the special rocks, fairy chimneys and a rock castle in front.
We highly recommend this hotel to you.

Room Tip: Any you can choose will satisfy you.
