We stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed the very good dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant! Our room had its private terrace and the view from there was wonderful!the only thing i could critisize isthe bathroom which was quote small and the tv set which was not on the bedroom... But the rest was quite nice

We loved it once we got used to the layout! Its quite sprawling with stairs everywhere and a front and back entrance. Staff very helpful. I loved getting up at dawn and watching the hot air balloons flying. Food very good and room was big and spacious also quirky.

Even though we booked late and got a smaller, not so well ventilated room, we loved loved loved this hotel. Its friendly, beautiful, and it can cook! We hated to leave. The owner Mustafa was helpful and engaging, the the physical beauty of the area is awesome. The hotel is filled with interesting antiques and objects; the restaurant is excellent and reasonable.

Room Tip: 310 was hot, even on a very chilly night. I would try another room

We had a lovely stay at Sultan Cave Suites last week. Arrived in a van from the airport (arranged by the hotel). As we pulled up to the hotel, two staff members whisked our bags up a few steps and into our room. It was so spacious that at first we thought it was a small reception area! They suggested we get settled and then come across to the office to do the check in paperwork - a nice touch after a morning of travelling. The view from our balcony was stunning: moonrise over the small town of Goreme every evening, and hot air balloons at dawn. Minaret from the nearby mosque was lit up with green underlighting at night.

The town was fun to walk around. Two "blocks" away down a side street was a manger complete with three cows! Interesting juxtaposition of solar panels on many roofs...

Because we arranged a hot-air balloon ride (Butterfly Balloons) and day tour (History and Adventure tour through Heritage Travel) with them as well as the airport pick up, we received a discount: the airport transfer was free (one way) and we saved on both of the activities as well.

Through their sister hotel (Kelebek) just steps away were a lovely (cold but refreshing) pool with hammocks, chaise lounges and chairs arranged under awnings and umbrellas, and a quiet shady tree-lined terrace with more hammocks and comfy chairs. Both overlooked Uchisar - the opposite direction of Goreme - for a nice change of scenery. We also enjoyed a Turkish bath scrub and massage at the spa there.

Breakfast was a terrific spread with cheeses, vegetables, breads, eggs, lots of dried fruits, cereal etc. Good way to start the day. Since we had to leave early for the airport on our last day, they had wrapped sandwiches and fruit waiting for us that morning upon departure. The restaurant on site was a serene setting but the food was nothing special. We had better dinners at Top Deck and Cappadocian Cuisine.

We arrived in Cappadocia to this wonderful hotel in time for our 30th wedding anniversary. We had a cave room which was spacious and so very comfortable. It's amazing how the temperature is just right. The staff are so good and nothing is too much trouble. They are very knowledgeable and we appreciated hearing their honesty. If something you ask about is not worth seeing, they will tell you. Waking up the first morning to a view of balloons floating past our window was magnificent. It set us up for the next day when it was going to be our turn to be up there. The place is elevated as with most of the good hotels so be prepared for the walk in and out of the village. I need a walking stick for extended walking and found it doable when weather was not too hot. Good food in both the restaurant here and in the sister hotel Kelebek next door. I was unwell one evening and although they do not do room service, my husband was able to have a plate brought to me. You have use of the small pool facility and spa at the Kelebek. The whole area is truly magnificent and can't wait to come back. I don't think I could ever get sick of the scenery and hospitality of this hotel.

Room Tip: Cave rooms are great!!

The staff were really friendly and made sure to answer any questions we had, specially the brazilian lady, Christina, always ready to fulfill any of our requests. The location was really ideal and the room was quite large and comfortable. Delicious breakfast! Would definitely stay there again!

This is a fabulous hotel. We just finished a three night stay and could have stayed longer. The rooms were more than comfortable, they were charming and had every amenity you could need. The pool and hamam you have complete unfettered access to in the sister hotel was amazing. The restaurant's food was delicious, though service was both excellent ans spotty depening on the night. The staff was incredibly helpful on how to best see what we wanted in the most convenient and economical way and spoke PERFECT english. You cant not go on a hot air balloon ride and butterfly balloons was great. The only suggestions i would make is for the hotel to sell bottled water, you have to go into town now if you want more than the two they give you in your room, and the wireless is spotty at best. But if i go back to cappa, i wouldnt stay anywhere else.
