Unbelievable experience to stay in a cave hotel. Their staff were so laid back and hospitable. They treat you like family. We enjoyed our room and the breathtaking views from the hotel. It felt like we were on another planet.

Don't miss out on their breakfast. We also recommend eating at their restaurant. The food was delicious.

Absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel!! The staff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and honest. They have helped us with all the our bookings and reservations, and provided us with very good recommendations. The food at the breakfast buffet was very good and there was a lot of variety. Amazing location and room ! We wished we had stayed a longer time ! Absolutely the best !

Room Tip: Room 324 was very big ( 3 beds) and no extra charge compared to another room!

Our family had an incredible time in Cappadocia and one of the reasons was this very hotel! It is the most unique place we have every stayed. Added bonuses: it was spacious, luxurious and run by a dedicated and helpful staff. We stayed in the family room suite (room 301) with our 2 kids (ages 8 and 4). The kids called it a cave-castle and loved returning to it after our daily adventures. The adults loved returning to it as well! We also enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet- there was something for everyone. We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast was served on our last day and they actually made us sandwiches to take along with us on our ride to the airport. That tells you a lot about the staff right there. I can't even begin to adequately sing the praises of this hotel! If you are going to Cappadocia, you must stay in a cave hotel and it must be this one!

Room Tip: Room 301 is a must for families! 2 separate bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom, and a large sitting/livi...

A great stay in such an unusual hotel. We had a large cave suite, which comfortably accommodated three people. The only downside was the lack of a window meaning the room was dark (but of course, it is a cave). The hotel restaurant was fantastic: excellent food and service and beautifully furnished. The views from the hotel's many terraces were spectacular.
The hotel's best asset were its staff, who were always on hand to provide honest advice on what to see and do, organise trips and just share a laugh. It really felt like we were staying with friends. Nothing was too much trouble.

If you want to stay in a cave room with nice accommodations I would recommend this hotel. The Turkish breakfast was delightful although their omelettes were not quite as good as the rest of the breakfast. The view is stunning and its an easy walk into the city center from its perch higher on the hillside. I would recommend having dinner at their restaurant. I was not disappointed and would have gone back if we were there one more night. The family suite was large but there was no separating door or curtain for the kids. I would stay there again. I talked to a couple staying at the hotel just next door and they were pleased with their accommodations as well. I booked through Turkish Heritiage Travel which seems to own the hotel the travel agency and Butterfly balloons. They made our whole stay pleasant, efficient and enjoyable.

Great room (two bedrooms and a living room) for our family of 5. Bathroom was huge. This is Room 301. Kids loved staying in a cave. We had a nice patio. Wifi was passable. The breakfast was extremely generous and delicious. The hotel concierge was very helpful. You don't need to rent a car - they can arrange transport for you. Also you can use the hamam at Kelebek which is quite nice.

Room Tip: recommend room 301 for a family of 4 or 5.

We have nothing bad to say about our experience at the Sultan Cave Suites. It has a lovely view of town, perfect for drinking a cup of coffee on the terrace outside of the reception. The included breakfast is delicious, with so many options. We also dined at the Seten restaurant and had a nice meal--they even gave us a discount and nice complimentary dessert plate since we were guests of the hotel.

Mehmet, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, taking time from his own day to show us the area and also take us to a pottery studio (which we asked for). He gave us great restaurant recommendations and good advice on what things were worth doing and what things were over the top touristy.

We were also able to book a hot air balloon ride and day tour through the hotel, which made things easy. The wireless internet worked most of the time, and there is also a computer in the reception free for guest use. A wonderful experience overall.

Room Tip: We were three people and stayed in a room with two twin beds and a double bed--perfect.
