“Amazing Hotel!”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

The hotel is fantastic. The architecture obeys the region, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is a show piece. Whole team is very attentive with the guests and they are always read to serve. The only attention point is like the rooms are inside the caves a lot of dust is accumulated. For those like me, take a lot of anti-allergic for prevention.

Room Tip: The rooms in the second floor have a nice vision of the Capadoccia!

I stayed 2 nights in the hotel, wished to stay longer as the area gives you nice tranquil feeling, very special.
Very handy the way they present rooms in the website, lot of hotels in Göreme give you pics of all their rooms.
I was in No 309, close to the reception area, with balcony, view to the valleys and town.
Next door room had also balcony, and in a way it was one big balcony, hence semiprivate, as there was no wall between just layout kind of separation. It had fireplace outside with seating (covered space) and sofa with table more out on a balcony. I asked to lit the fireplace one evening- bliss sitting and sipping tea.
Although thick walls, can still hear well if talked outside.
Overall the room was clean but it needs improving as lot of dust everywhere (chairs, table surface etc)

Room was spacious with sitting area, desk (office) area, wonderful carpets everywhere, kettle in the room.
Bathroom: conditioner, shampoo, soap, shower cup, sewing kit, soft towels, slippers, sponge- good quality, hair dryer.

You can eat right in the hotel, they have best restaurant in town- Seten.

Staff kindly dropped me off to the museum, bus stop and zelve.
Very helpful and friendly staff.

Breakfast: rich buffet, fresh pastries, cheese, vegetables, salads, egg, etc.

You can walk easily to several valleys and open air museum, like red tour is basically all walking distance.

Definitely recommend this hotel, it has an elegance and style.

Room Tip: all room pics are on the website. Found junior suite nicer than a suit. There are 2 different house...

I can't recommend this hotel enough. The rooms are lovely, the location is perfect & the service is above & beyond. We felt like we were leaving a home when we left! Try & request the room with a terrace, stunning views!

I stayed here for 4 nights in April and was sad to leave. The room was lovely, so cozy with a spectacular view. Goreme itself is a magical place to visit and the hotel blended in beautifully. All the staff were so cheerful, attentive and helpful. On my first day venturing out by myself, I became lost trying to find my way back to the hotel (I was traveling alone). Over the phone, they insisted on coming to pick me up instead of giving directions. The breakfast was delicious as were the meals I ate at the Seten Restaurant. Beautiful views from the restaurants. It was in an ideal location and the staff, once again, directed me to the best hiking trails through fascinating, magical landscape! If you like quiet beauty and hiking, Goreme, Cappadocia and the Sultan Cave Suites are for you.

Room Tip: I had the last room at the end of the suites (towards Pigeon Valley) which was elevated, quiet and h...

Everyone at Sultan Caves was extremely friendly and helpful right from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Very attentive and always available, and willing to do that extra bit to make you feel special! So when my wife said she loved the apple tea they served, and would like to take some home, they brought out all the packets they had in their pantry for us to take with us.

Living in a cave was very exciting - our room was a converted 9th century wine cellar!!

And of course, the views were absolutely fabulous..

Staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and helped us plan out our visit very well on arrival. Room was gorgeous but a bit dark (it is a cave after all!) - perhaps could have a few more lamps, but everything was renovated and clean. Beautiful views at breakfast (which was very tasty). Did not eat at the restaurant on site for dinner but it was clearly one of the more elegant places to dine in Goreme. Had a lovely visit.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 5 nights in April 2014. The staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to provide advice and Tea! Our cave was private, safe, and cozy. Breakfast was divine, and we ate over looking Goreme each morning. The Seten Restaurant located at the same location is also strongly recommended.
