We had a late lunch at the Konak. It was easy to find and there was lots of parking. The building was beautiful, situated in a park and it had a very Turkish feel. The service was super with good descriptions of the menu and excellent recommendations from the staff. We tried the okra soup which was different and very tasty. They make their own bread which they serve fresh baked. We had their specialty, a tava, made from tender lamb with tomatoes, onions and peppers and baked. It was delicious! Just when it seemed it could get no better (and there was no more room) we ate 'aside' the local desert! It was also amazing! The price was more reasonable for the same quality than Istanbul.
