This hotel was great coming home to. The room are so unique, clean and cozy. If you want a whole new experience from a hotel you must stay here. The hotel is clean with very helpful, friendly staff. The breakfast is wonderful! I highly recommend you stay here! Book it early, everyone wants to stay in a cave

It has been a few weeks since my return from Turkey. The highlight of my 10 day sojourn with friends is my stay at the Garamisu Cave Hotel. Truly hands on and mingling with his guests and friends at dinner at the hotel restaurant, Owner Ibrahim is gentle and friendly. He explains to us that this dream for many years to build a differemt kind of hotel, where rooms are unique and each one has a story is amazing to him. I stayed at the most modest of the rooms, only because it's called the Monk's room. I entered and i see a queen bed high up on a platform, with simple laced bedcover covered with rose petals. It was a large room with 2 sitting lounge sofas on each side. A few steps down, is the bathroom and atop the stairs is the most perfect stone fireplace. My door is made of old rescued wood and the keys seems to come from the byzantine era and works.I can't believe this once was a cave. Be ready with your running shoes, just outside the property, is a nice long driveway that leads you to the counrty roads where it is safe to do a quick walk or run for excercise or just to admire the beauty of the countryside. Small winding roads lead you to different areas of the property to explore caves that have not been touched nor turned into a hotel room. About 20 minutes from here, get ready to go on an exhilirating air balloon ride. Return to Garamisu for breakfast, lunch or dinner any time, there is a friendly smile from their staff, ready to share Turkish hospitality. Food is very good but company with locals or guests and Owner Ibrahim made our experience even more special.I will surely come back to Garamisu, in the village of Ayvali.

Room Tip: I saw a large suite, one with a spa tub and looked like a massage seat made of marble. Heated floor...

This hotel was a real treat. The rooms were beautiful. Some of our group had problems with the electrics and had to switch rooms, and the white wine was warm at dinner, which was very disappointing, however everything else was great.
