My family and I enjoyed a terrific 3-4 days in the solitary surroundings of Cave Deluxe - in a valley in Ortahisar. Fantastic food, great team, lovely rooms, hot water, trust worthy team & blissfully quiet. Easy to get a lift (by Dolma or taxi) into Urgup and Goreme. We stayed with two young children (6 & 3) and the hotel has a great backyard for kids to runaround in. Authentic cave rooms - would recommend!

This is such a unique place! We were a family of four in two rooms, and the rooms were very different from one another, but both wonderful. I had heard of cave hotels being damp and moldy; this place was definitely not. I'm not sure if this is true, but someone said that staff ran dehumidifiers in the rooms when guests were out. Rather than a breakfast buffet, platters of typical Turkish breakfast foods (really fresh) are brought to your table, and you have the option of ordering eggs. Tables are set up on a grassy area outside with a great view. We had dinner there one night, and it was excellent. Food and drink prices were very reasonable. Also, we had our laundry done at a ridiculously low price. My only disappointment is that it's not within walking distance of anything, which I guess is a fair trade-off for the tranquility and beauty of the setting.

Enjoyed the stay in Hotel Cave Deluxe. What a good experience! No air con but you feel cool inside. You can find everything you need in the room. It is a very different than a normal hotel. So happy to have a chance stay there. So relaxing......

We were a group of 11 college students traveling through Turkey and stayed here for one night. The Hotel CaveDeluxe was definitely the highlight or our tour and we only wish we could have stayed longer! In addition to the picturesque and tranquil surroundings, the staff is exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful.

The cave rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Each room is different but all come with TV and everything you would need.

Outside you will find an outdoor restaurant, lots of grass, hammock, fireplace, and a very fresh, delicious breakfast in the morning. A truly great and unforgettable stay!

The hotel is off the beaten track BUT....assume nothing. The rooms were lovely...very tranquil surroundings. My children loved their cave-like family sized rooms. In the village of Ortahisar there are only a handful of such cave like hotels. It is only a short drive from Goreme busy township.

My children also loved playing by the swing in the garden and exploring the place. Perfect place for young children as there are no steps in the garden and you can sit watching them.

We arranged day tours of Cappadocia & the tour agent pickup & drop off at the hotel as part of their service. This is one of the many options to get out and about. On one occasion we even asked our tour guide to drop us off at Goreme for dinner & then bring us back to the hotel after we had our dinner. The Turkish people are generally friendly.

We had also hired a car for the day to go exploring on our own and it's not difficult as the road signs are good.

The hotel has its own restaurant so if you are tired after a long day out, at least food is available. Food here is good...do not worry.

On our last day, our flight was very late in the evening and with young children in tow we were worried it might be too much. Since the hotel was not busy, they allowed us a later than usual check out. Airport transfer was free due to the current promotion (if you stayed more than 2 nights).

We had a lovely time chatting with the staff esp. the cook Ertan and the manager Mr Bulent.
