Sira is set on a hilltop in the tiny village of Uchisar overlooking a vast Cappadocia valley. The staff is very friendly and welcoming although not entirely fluent in English (and unfortunately our Turkish is non-existent). The menu has the usual local specialities made with seasonal ingredients including an excellent lamb shank in asparagus sauce. There is a decent selection of local wines.
