What a disappointment! Situated on one of the most exotic hills of Cappadocia, this restaurant in the Argos Hotel could have been the best. The view is spectacular, and the architecture of the hotel and the restaurant is perfect for the region. Although I would recommend going there for drinks in the evening before sunset, I cannot recommend the food. The restaurant is overpriced and somewhat pretentious. Despite not being busy, the service lacked the attentiveness expected of fine dining. Although the dishes looked very good, the attempt at fusion food failed. For example, the warm goat cheese salad in phyllo bowl could have been so much better. The walnuts should have been toasted; the dressing was unmemorable; the toast below the cheese was too thick the be easily cut and lacked flavour. I won't detail the other menu selections, but let me say that in the presence of so many great alternatives in Cappadocia, I would recommend that you dine elsewhere.
