We have been in Turkey for a week. Dining in Istanbul has been rather mediocre, service OK, expensive, food OK, etc.
This place has served up the best dining experience on our trip so far.
The setting is superb, on top of an old building in town (or made to look old?). Nice views of the city of Urgup and the old dwellings in the hills.
The service is professional, low-key, not overly in your face or pushy, right amount of waiter attention time.
The Turkish food excellent.
Wine selection good and reasonably priced.
After a week of mediocre dining in Turkey this place really excelled. Best dining experience so far on our trip.
