“Just wonderful”

All the reviews are correct -- this is the best hotel in Cappadocia. We stayed in the Volcano Suite, and it was just gorgeous. the views were spectacular, the breakfast lovely, the common rooms welcoming, and Suha by far the most unintrusively helpful hotelier we have ever interacted with. Butterfly Balloons, which he recommended, was amazing -- we could see all the other balloons crowded around one spot, going straight up and straight down, while we soared all over, in and out of canyons, etc. Mike, our balloon driver, was fabulous.

Esbelli Hotel easily rates as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in thanks to its unique location and friendly staff. We were in the Labyrinth Suites which were exquisitely decorated--I wanted to take all the carpets home! The breakfasts are delicious and the terrace offers a lovely view. The fresh pistachios are a great touch. Cappadocia is a fascinating part of the world--Esbelli Evi was the "icing on the cake".

This has to be the coolest hotel we've stayed in! And the service is unlike anything you see in the US. The relaxing atmosphere, stone and tile work coupled with soft lighting made us feel like our "cave" was a spa. Take a moment to dim the lights and enjoy a glass of wine in the beautiful claw-footed bathtub after a busy day of sightseeing! The bathroom was so beautiful, I wish I had taken a photo of it; the bathroom alone is bigger than some hotel rooms. Our booking was made pretty close to our stay and room availability was limited, but the Stonecutters' Suite was more than adequate. Mr. Suha and his staff were wonderful. His guidance on sites to see in the region was great. With his advice, we were very comfortable renting a car and exploring the area on our own. No tour guide needed. Breakfasts in the hotel included a Turkish breakfast of cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers plus the pastries and eggs cooked to order that westerners are accostomed to. You also have access to a self serve bar operated on the honor system. Additional ammenities included access to a couple of washing machines, folding clothes dryers and detergent so you could do some laundry at a flat per load rate.

Room Tip: The Stonecutters' Suite is a bit more secluded with nice patios for reading a good book, enjoyin...

We stayed here for 2 nights and left with only 1 regret...why didnt we plan to stay longer at this wonderful place. Never have I seen a perfect hotel...wonderful rooms, excellent service and an extremely helpful team made this holiday perfect. I have never seen such personalized service and detail to attention. Loved every moment spent. This is one hotel no one should miss staying in. It gives a new meaning to 5 star hospitality.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Volcano Cave Suite, and the suite just blew our minds away. It was so beautiful and spacious, with a huge sitting area, a small dining area with a kitchenette, huge huge toilet, and a private secret door leading inside some unknown cave ! We never ventured into the secret cave, but I cannot over-state as to how much we enjoyed this wonderful hotel. Not only do they have free wi-fi in the rooms, but they also provide a laptop in every suite ! There is a large private patio to sit out on, or hang your clothes to dry (they do have washing machines too). Well stocked mini-bar, huge collection of wines at the reception area, books to read strewn all over the place, and a lavish breakfast spread which exceeds expectations.

The hotel staff are wonderful and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. Extremely helpful in arranging car rental or airport pickups and drops, or recommending restaurants and things to do. It is a bit of a walk to the main town of Urgup, but we had a car so it was no problem. The only thing that we did not use the hotel for was arranging a hot air balloon trip, as we got much better prices outside.

Would love to go back sometime, and would definitely stay here again. The place just added so much to our Cappadocia tour.

Room Tip: Ask the host Suha's advice in selecting a suitable suite; you won't go wrong.

We stayed in the Volcano Cave Suite and had a fabulous time. The owner and staff are always pleasant and accommodating and helped with our travel arrangements not only at their property but with plans in other locations. Our suite was the size of a small home, with a laptop in the the room for our use. All of the outlets had converters so charging any of your appliances was never an issue. They offer a complimentary breakfast on a lovely terrace overlooking all of Cappadocia. Easy walk to town. Fabulous winery right down the street. Highly recommend this resort.

This was the best hotel of our two week stay in Turkey. We stayed here for three nights and would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed. We stayed in the Twin Arches Suite, The staff was friendly and very helpful, the location was great, rooms beautiful and private, breakfast was great. They provided a computer in the room and lots of other nice amenities, including laundry machines.
