“Amazing !”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

My two friends and I stayed at Kayakapi Premium caves. It was the highlight of our week trip to Turkey. The caves are nestled in history with the modern benefits of large luxurious rooms. We felt like royalty. The staff made you feel welcomed and were so happy to help with anything and everything. Mehmet was the very best !!! His customer service is amazing! The introduction is a kind gesture of warm Turkish tea and bright smiles plus handling any need at anytime. Hospitality is obvious at this hotel and their guests are their priority. The view of the hotel overlooking the town was magnificent, especially at night. The short steps into the local village was so charming and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and our vacation will be forever apart of our hearts!

My friend and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Cappadocia. The rooms were beautiful and unique, the views were amazing, and the staff was incredible. In my experience, what really sets a hotel apart is the level of service provided by the employees. I booked our stay back in January and received a welcome email almost immediately. Via email, management arranged our airport transport, ATV rides, hot air balloon ride, and private tour guide. As the primary trip planner, it was wonderful and a real help to have all of these arrangements taken care of for us. Once we arrived, we were greeted warmly and were given an extensive and interesting tour of the grounds (definitely worth taking as the area has a rich history). I highly recommend this hotel, not only for the beautiful rooms and location but also because of the exceptional staff.

Upon our arrival, the hotel informed us that they had upgraded our family of five to the largest cave at the hotel (cave 123). All our jaws dropped when we stepped foot inside our room. Not only was it huge, but it was over the top in terms of decor and amenities too. We were so sad we only had one night here. The restaurant was very good. We ate dinner here as well as enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet. I can't think of anything negative that I can say about the hotel. It was a wonderful experience that my family will always remember. By the way, we were traveling with my 70 yr old father and two children ages 7 and 10. Our room was a great family set up.

The Kayakapi Premium Caves Hotel is certainly worthy of its 5 star rating.
The site overlooking the town and valley below provides a stunning vista. The terraced balcony was a great place to enjoy meals particularly a delicious breakfast as you watched the early morning hot air balloons glide past!
The cave rooms were were extremely large and comfortable with authentic furnishings adding to their atmosphere.
Staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Maybe consider a room with windows to provide more ventilation

My wife and I spent 2 nights at this very unique and beautiful hotel cave. It was a very interesting experience! The staff was very friendly they all greet you with a smile when they see you. We were on our honeymoon so the location was perfect for what we wanted, away from everything and very quiet with just a short ride into the center on town. We upgraded to a top room/cave with a pool in it, a bit expensive but highly recommended. The only thing I would point out is that the restaurant didn't have much on the menu and was very pricey. Overall we loved our stay at this magnificent hotel and would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Dear Nelson;

Thank you for your review and special thanks for describing our hotel as unique and magnificent.

I am happy that you enjoyed your Pool Suite :) Regarding the menu at the restaurant, unfortunately due to lack of space at our current restaurant: Manzara Bistro we have a limited menu. But at the new restaurant which will open shortly this won't be a problem :)

Again thank you for your time writing this lovely review.

Greetings to NYC from Cappadocia.

This is a new hotel and is still learning. The main advantage is the cave dwellings which have been very well renovated. There are a few things that just haven't been fully thought through like the poor lighting and the only shower being part of a free standing bath. Each room is different however so check out which ones are available.

The food is ok but the dinner menu is not very turkish and what the do serve isn't spectacular.

Despite appearances you can walk down to the city without a taxi.

Dear Ben;

Thank you for your review.

We are very sorry to hear that we have not fully satisfied you as a guest at our property. Lightning has never been an issue at our rooms/suites and it is the 1st time we hear/read something like this. Also regarding the bathrooms we have many alternatives with many different aspects in each room/suite. The best idea would be to choose an alternative after checking out the detailed aspects of the room from our website.

At the moment we have 2 menus: Traditional Set Menu and A la Carte Menu. I guess that you missed the Traditional Set Menu which are Traditional Dishes mostly from Cappadocia.

Thank you for your time writing this review.

Stayed at Kayakapı for 3 magnificient days with my family.
Having 2 boys and going somewhere without sea or waterslides may sound a brave move.(when we are going to a holiday first thing my sons are asking is if there is water slide at the hotel)
But believe me we all enjoyed it and it was for sure something more than a regular vacancy.
Staying in a cave was a great experience and very joyfull.
No need to mention about the wonderfull hospitality of the WHOLE team. Be sure i will come again.
Thank you Kayakapı Hotel for letting ud to have that experience and also saving the history.
Also i advice you to try baloon and watch the natural beauties of cappadocia from above. It was amazing.

Dear YBenli;

First of all we are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Kayakapi Premium Caves - Cappadocia despite you had 2 children :)

Cappadocia is a land of extraordinary history and culture, unique in the World. I am very happy that your boys enjoyed the stay although the lack of water slides. But good news, next time when they arrive we won't have any water slides but the pool will be ready :)
