The Yusuf Yigitoglu Cave Hotel is very good situated.Just in a short walking distanz to the main town of Urgup. The arcitecture of this hotel is nice.To sleep in a cave is wonderful. The rooms are clean, large in size and comfortable. The decoration is very tradional. We had a great dinner with local taste. The staff and hotel managment were very helpful , friendly and kind.I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room Tip: The Kayasuit where we stayed was a real cave.

The room we had was a large family room. This was great but it had no view as it was in the caves and was the wrong side of the hallway. A smaller room with a view would have been preferred. The room was clean but bed was rather lumpy and my husband and I had two restless nights of sleep on the mattress which has seen better days.
Bathroom fan also made a horrible shriek noise at times which was a problem late a night for the sleeping partner.
Location at the top of the hill was good, if you had a view, but if tired and at night was a hard slog to walk up the hill.
Food was included, much to our surprise, and breakfast was easy to choose what you wanted but dinner was a full 5 courses. This is wherre the language barrier really came into it we tried on a couple of occasions to say no more food was wanted but they kept rolling out the meal and being the only ones in dining area at time (they also stood and watched) we gave in and ate but felt bad that we did noit eat all that was served up.
Food is typical Turkish fare butstaff were friendly and helpful as can be when they speak no English and us no Turkish.
Overall clean and nice hotel but there are a few at the bottom of the hill that maybe worth a look before you book here.

Yusuf Yigitoglu Konagi hotel is really fantastic.
I had a beautiful view from the window of my room which is very spacious and arranged in a charming and traditional Turkish way. You may have cave rooms if you prefer. But I do suggest regular rooms which are more spacious and more comfortable.
The team of this hotel is exceptional! They, Cihan, Asim and Ceren, are so young, charming, professional and patient. You may ask any questions and they will be there to help you.
When I rushed in the morning to catch the tour shuttle waiting for me without having time for breakfast, they even insisted that I had a cup of orange juice first. When a friend of my second day's tour group didn't want the cave room, and the hotel didn't not have any single room available, they generously offered her a deluxe double room without any extra fees.
I was travelling with a group of people coming from the US, Australia, France and China. Everyone of us has loved our stay there!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!
Have you ever wanted to sleep in a hotel that was built right into the side of a hill?? As in a Cave?/ Well this hotel has a beautiful old world vibe, supported by old style furnishings, new style bathrooms, and a staff of discrete, almost invisible servers. English speakers are few an far between but there are some servers who understand enough to get by.
Up the hill from the Hotel are a few shops that sell clothes, trinkets and such, and farther up the main road is a winery, that I never visited since I was too busy!! I don't remember anything close by to visit, but then the whole trip was organized around visiting sites that were only accessible by bus. This place is well worth the time to visit!

Room Tip: the call to prayer is a real wake up call at 4:30 in the morning - just remember you are in a muslim...

We stayed here for 2 nights on our Turkey tour and the experience is fantastic. In a dug out cave room which is very unique stay. The rooms were clean and the staff were ever so helpful, we had dinner in the hotel both nights and loved the traditional food and service.

We stayed here for two nights and was the first experience for staying in a cave converted to hotel. Our breakfast and dinner was included. The meals were catered to our needs being vegetarians and non beef eating. Delicious meals, excellent service, very hospitable and friendly staff, special mention of Ceren at reception and Cihan. Enjoyed company of their dog Lodos and cat pasha. A little out of town about 5 mins away from city centre. Located at urgup. Suggest spend a day and half at the minimum and do a hot air ballon trip with Rainbow.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in July 2012. It was such a beautiful stay. The room was lovely, the food delicious. Calm surroundings. About a 15-minute uphill walk from the main town, but a very pretty walk nonetheless.
The best part about our stay here was the staff. Very very friendly, very very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, they suggested tours for us, helped us get the best deals... Most of them spoke enough english to be able to make ourselves understood!
I will only stay here if i ever go back!
