“Absolutely wonderful! Best service in 5 months of traveling!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2011

Booked as part of a tour so had no idea what to expect. Checked in very early after an overnight bus but as expected for this time of year & time of morning room was still occupied but we were offered luggage storage & a washroom to freshen up & change which made a world of difference after a long bus ride.
We stayed in a cave room which was large, very clean & was complete with glass covering a hole in the floor displaying the original oven pit which added a really nice rustic feel to the room.
The bathroom was very large, clean with spa bath and great open stone shower with lots of hot water!
The hotel owner Mustafa is very friendly, approachable and goes as far as he can to make your stay great. He recommended a great local restaurant (full of local too which is always a good sign) where we ate on a number of occasions.
Overall I highly reccomend this hotel as the rooms are unique, the service is second to none and the location is great (less than 200m from the town centre & bus stop).

From the moment İ enquired on google for accommodation Mustafa and his team gave me excellent service. On our arrival they were friendly warm and could simply not do enough for us. Even when my husband was injured Mustafa and his team went out of their way to assist.
If you never stay in any hotel in your whole life you at least have to spend a night at the Cappadocia Palace Hotel and meet wıth Mustafa.
Stunning rooms gReat breakfast and the list goes on and on...

Possibly the most comfortable bed in my entire trip. But the best part was the exceptional helpfulness of Bekir, who went beyond any usual service to help me replace my broken camera.

i am probably the 100th person writing this but Mustapha & Bekir from Cappadocia palace just made my stay in Cappadocia more memorable! Mustapha the manager (and i suspect the owner) will do anything for any of his guests to make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of.

making sure i have my tea, even at his inconvenience he changed some sgd for me (even asked me to check online to make sure that i am comfy with exchange rates) etc. Bekir works in the little cafe within Cappadocia Palace, he is very friendly, chatty and helpful.

My driver from the hotel, Numan, is an extremely skillful driver! to negotiate those tiny lanes in Urgup definately require years of experience. thank you for keeping me safe!

For those taking the normal room, please dont expect a cave room because i think there are some misunderstanding. there is another part of the hotel that has cave rooms, make sure you ask for what is correct. i stayed in the normal room, it is nice & comfy though it is not extremely spacious but for a solo asian lady like me, it is good enough. so do manage your expectation.

breakfast was good! decent spread of bread, cheese, milk, cereal, honey, coffee tea etc. turk hospitality at such, you will be offered tea/ apple tea at any point of the day and they keep coming as long as you are happy to drink them. no obligation, no pressure :)

i am very happy with the hotel and will gladly recommend it to anyone! great service, with care and attention! friendly staff with beautiful smile :)

Mustapha (the Manager) and Bekir made the stay at this unique hotel in Urgup one of the highlights of my trip to Turkey. Both provided top-quality service and advice with smiles and a genuine warmth that is rare, even at the best hotels. I will give people staying at the Palace one piece of advice: do not challenge Mustapha to a game of backgammon. His hospitality is surpassed only by his skill at Turkey's national game.

Room Tip: Take the cave rooms: simple but cozy

Mustafa, the manager of the hotel, is really nice. He welcomed us perfectly. He was very helpful when we asked him questions about activities, restaurant, bus and so on. THe hotel in itself is simple but nice and clean. The breakfast room is impressive, and the food in itself is very complete and good. We totally recommend this hotel.
