Loved this quaint house up a hill. The owners first request was to remove shoes, this is a Turkish home to a young couple and their son and it does feel like you are a visitor to the same. Enjoyable and comfortable stay, very friendly and helpful owners. The Old town is very original and you feel as though you have been transported back in time. Beautiful flowers everywhere.
If you visit the acropolis by cable car I would suggest to walk down the hill and see the other ruins which are often missed by the coach parties, it is an enormous site to cover.

We only stayed in Bergama for 1 night, mainly to go and see the Acropolis.
This little guesthouse was a gem. Delightful, beautifully decorated, comfortable bedrooms. An amazing roof terrace and seating area upstairs for guests to use and where breakfast was served in the morning.
There's not many rooms so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, offered lots of information how to get to the acropolis or other sights in the city as well as where to find certain shops. He helped us in and out with our bags and was on hand if we had any questions. The breakfast that he prepared in the morning was lovely and again he offered to make us any kind of eggs we liked, such great service.

The guesthouse is located up a small side street which is on a bit of a hill but the whole of Bergama seems to be very hilly, it wasn't a problem though we had very clear instructions when we booked and there are signs out along the streets directing you to the guesthouse.

Bergama was a sleepy little town but beautiful and full of historic, interesting sights to look at, we wished we could stay for longer, everyone was so friendly and welcoming we'd definitely go back, not just to Bergama but definitely to Odyssey Guesthouse too.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 1st floor and had an amazing view. It was a double bed with an additional singl...

The location of the guesthouse is perfect: right near the center of old town Bergama with lot's of restaurants, shops, tea houses, etc. From here you can even walk to all the important sights within Bergama, like the Akropolis.

Our room was spacious, with a small winter garden. And the roof top terasse is great for a sunset snack & drink.

The building is old, nicely renovated and dekorated. Everything was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We could even used the kitchen to prepare some food.

Room Tip: The room in the 1st floor with the winter garden balcony is very spacious and ideal even for 3 or 4...

The Guesthouse is locate just some blocks from the Red Basilica and near a lot of restaurants and shops. Also a bus stop with service buses to the main station is also some 2 blocks away.
The staff is super friendly and the book exchange is respectable enough to get a good book swap for further travels.
The place is clean and has a beautiful balcony with a view of the whole city.
A good place with good taste.

We spent two nights in this wonderful restored Greek House. It has been artfully decorated reflecting its heritage. A very comfortable stay and the breakfast was delicious. Our host was most helpful with local tourist options and also for ongoing travel. The book exchange was welcomed as we needed new books and we found some good ones to read. Also books to read on the region and further afield were available to read. The location was perfect as we could walk to Pergamon, the Asklepios and historic sites plus enjoy the older part of Bergama.

We stayed here for two nights. This is a renovated Greek House with high ceiling and big warm room and roof top terrace for breakfast and nice view of Bergama seeing the red Basilica. Breasfast was an extra 10 lira each. The room and toilet was very clean. Ersin, the owner was very friendly and helpful. He showed us the short cut way to walk up to the Akropol through the old town. The place is quite difficult to find. We took the taxis from the town center for 10 lira. However if you get to the Soma Bus station near the red Basilica, it will be easy to locate it as there were signs along the way.

Room Tip: The room on the ground floor was good.
