10.000 stores, in one market, you can find fish, meat, every thing you may need or want.It is
very easy to lost your way, so it is better to have a map, or a card from the store where you begin.
Price are reasonable, a place to visit, and dont forget to eat something like "Iskender", and of course, a turkish coffee.

This is a very uniqe shopping area with parallel two main streets and various side streets. You can find almost every thing you may need or want. Although it is a very crowed area you can still do your shopping or eye shopping very safely. A place to visit.

This is an old market place with a mixture of real and fake textile goods and bags, petshops, fish markets, fruit and veg. stands, wedding dresses, jewellery and gold shops, wooden things, toy shops, antique shops, second hand book shops etc...
Turkish people love to shop here because of the reasonable prices. But be carefull as you may get diffrent pricess as a tourist.
You should invest a full day for the whole market place and you should really visit the back streets to see the intresting side of the market. You can have a very reasonable lunch at a pideci (some turkish pizza), some döner in a pita bread or in one of the lokanta's.
But the best thing to do at Kemeraltı is:
To have a cup of Turkish coffe in "Kızlaragası Hanı" while watching the crowd around you..
