This hotel is nice. Most of the staff is very helpful although only a few speak English. The room is comfortable but very small. The location is good but not great. I would say about a 20 minute walk to the major Tourist areas. There are no restaurants in the immediate area. You will need to walk. The breakfast was good. Izmir was not one of my favorite spots. The city is very crowded and there is not much to see. I would suggest staying in Selcuk or Pergamum.

great hotel! Staff are very kind and helpful; breakfast is very rich; rooms are extremely clean and newly refurbished. the location is good too and the only thing which surprises me is the price which is rather low for the excellent service you get.

This hotel is nice and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. You can bring your breakfast to the terrace outside and enjoy this small nice garden. The street behind is a very turkish way of life one and it's funny. The location is close to the train station and not far from the sea side.

My husband & I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is modern and the room we stayed in (the Agora) is spacious with a nice balcony. The view was ok. But being the winter season we had to keep the sliding glass door shut most of the time because of the cold and also because the wind was blowing stuff that looked like soot into the balcony area. Room has tea and coffee-making facilities.

Location was good with fairly easy access to some of the sights e.g. Agora, St Polycarp's church (shut for renovations), bazaar, metro stations However the small streets around the hotel had lots of rather dodgy looking hotels and did not feel too safe. The hotel staff said that it was safe except after midnight. We noted that the hotel have employed their own security guards.

Bathroom is quite a good size but the shower cubicle is small. Provision of a bathrobe was a nice touch!

Breakfast was good and substantial.

We encountered some problem printing out our boarding pass and the manager kindly allowed us to use his computer in his office and helped us print them out. All in all the staff were very helpful.

Free Wifi BUT it was really inconvenient to have to log in with passport no and room no every time we wanted to use our Ipad or smartphone.

This hotel was very clean, modern and kept to a high standard. Upon arrival we were met at our car (on site parking a plus!) by the valet who showed us in. He also brought fresh fruit up to our room after we had settled in, a nice touch! Rooms very modern (especially the lighting). I felt the location could have been a bit better, there were no restaurants within walking distance for example, and it didn't feel 100% safe walking at night in the neighborhood. Also the breakfast was just OK. Overall, a good value in an often expensive city, especially if your happy to take a taxi into nicer areas.
