This is the best value for money 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in.

First it was cheap; far cheaper than many hotels that are far inferior.

Room was large clean and comfortable with comfortable King bed.

Amazing spa and wellness centre with huge gym full of modern equipment.

Pool was good and lobby area nice.

Two fantastic restaurants:
By the pool for a great fish meal the sea bream was amazing.

Or on the top (ninth floor) for fine dinning where the crispy duck with plum sauce was top class.

If I was to pick a downside which is hard- the wine list was a little pricey and the internet (free) was on the slow side in our room.

If you are going to Izmir stay at Swissotel you will not regret it.

We stayed at this hotel during an Insight tour of Turkey. Unquestionably the best hotel during the tour. Five stars all the way. One cannot but admire the quality of the lobby, the rooms, linens, restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools and the divine spa!!! A top class hotel fully desrving of all the awards it has received. We would love to go back again and stay longer.

Stayed there for one night only and booked the the honeymoon package (although it was NOT our honeymoon - just had a good offer!). There was a conference at the same time and the front desk seemed to be struggling with the amount of people they were dealing with.

We opted to get an upgrade but the room was not ready at the time we were checking in. Other than that, the service was efficient and we had an amazing time at the spa, the highlight of our stay. The hotel is also open to locals to use the amenities and services. And of course, only the affluent can afford that - they seem to have their nose up in the air for everyone else. They were outright rude to the staff at the Spa.

Overall, a very nice experience. Chilled at the Sky bar/restaurant at night with views over the marina. We had dinner and breakfast at their buffet restaurant (can't remember the name of the restaurant now) - a very good selection of food and drinks. Not all their staff speak English and we had a few struggles but nothing major. There is no parking at the hotel but valet staff are always on hand to park the vehicles.

Room Tip: Look at their packages - they offer better-value!
