First time staying in fethiye.we went end of April this year.
Rebin beach hotel is situated about 10mins walk from the shops and restaurants and about 25mins drive from central fethiye.there are bus stops on either side which will take you to central.the price was 2 lira each way which is around 57p.the staff at the rebin beach hotel are extremely friendly and speak really good English.they were very helpful in directing us to places, writing names down to show bus drivers.when ever we had any problems etc they were always to hand.the gentlemen who supervised meals, does the gardening and other jobs was an absolute pleasure.he is an asset to the hotel.the rooms were a decent size, were nice and clean with a decent size balcony.housekeeping come in the mornings nice and chirpy! I highly recommend this hotel.it is so friendly and worth every penny.

A very nice and reasonably priced hotel

We stayed at the Rebin Beach hotel towards the end of October, which is at the end of the summer season and was pleasantly surprised what a nice hotel it was. I noted that several other reviewers comments on the proximity of the hotel to one of the roads into Fethiye which is true, but it wasn't a busy road and did not bother us. Also there is a smallholding on the other side of the hotel which has goats, chickens, and a Cockerel! - so be prepared fof the early morning wake-up calls. Its all very nice and you get used to it.
The hotel is modernly appointed and very well maintained by the family who run it. Everyone there is very kind and helpful and there were no complaints that we were aware of from any of the guests.
The dining room opens onto the pool area and the was always a good selection of things to eat. The kind chef always prepared fried eggs, omelet or pancakes every morning which is not always commonplace at hotels in this price bracket.
The pool is a good size for a small hotel so you can swim if that is what you are looking for, there are also 2 baby pools for small children or just to cool your feet down in.
The beach at Calis is a shingle beach and approximately 200 to 300m away, or a 5 minute walk but you do have to cross a purpose built bridge over s stream and the road, but no real problem.
Calis beach itself is a fairly quiet resort with buses running to Fethiye every 10 or 15 minutes which costs either 1 or 2 TL depending on which bus you catch with the bus stop being just across the road by a small mini-market store which sells most things you are likely to need. On the beach there are a multitude of beach cafes/restaurants etc, several of which let you use their sunbeds for free as long as you buy a drink or some snacks.
The main market for the area is in Fethiye on a Tuesday and sells genuine fakes of nearly everything, but well worth a visit as is the main fish market which is really good.

A couple of points for improvement:

There is a cupboard for a mini fridge but alas no mini-fridge, and the barman/DJ insists on playing loud disco music fairly, loudly around the pool area from about 12.00 to 14.00 which most of the guests weren't very keen on. But overall small points we think.

The hotel is astonishingly good value, clean and very comfortable. Rooms are spotless. The showers are whatever temperature you want, and powerful. That's all you need. Plenty of room in the large pool. Plenty of quality choice for breakfast: eggs, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, rich red tomatoes, olives, proper good bread, honey, tahini, fruit syrups, fresh butter, good coffee. A la carte lunch or bar meals, and a decent buffet in the evening of traditional Turkish dishes with truly amazing soup, and salads, vegetables, fruit and sweets.

Also a good choice of restaurants within easy walking on Calis Beach.

The hotel is intelligently run for its mix of guests: couples, families, small tour groups, and those, like me, just holidaying alone in a friendly and welcoming country. It suits travellers rather than tourists, popular with British, German and Dutch with a sense of adventure, united in their love of Turkey. Great conversation around the bar at night.

The staff are professional, attentive, articulate and great fun. The owners are always around, well liked by the staff (which is important) and extremely helpful. The hotel is busy, but the guests are active, often out and about, so it never feels at all crowded.

RB has free parking. Driving the coast around here, from Antalya to Dalaman is a pleasure, with good roads, clearly signed. I had a gps, but rarely used it. Do drive in Turkey - there's so much to see and the freedom it gives you is unbeatable. Car hire is inexpensive, though fuel costs are high. The tall stories about Turkish driving are exaggerated (well not always, but if you take care, it's fine).

Fethiye is not that far from Bodrum, but it might as well be a million miles. Calis and Fethiye are proper Turkish places populated by proper Turkish people, friendly, witty and helpful as it's possible to be, and many fewer resident Brits than in and around Bodrum. This is a big plus for me. UK expats have a depressing knack of making everywhere feel too much like home. Sorry guys, it's true.

The beachfront in Calis is stunningly beautiful, quiet and chilled.

Don't be put off Rebin Beach because of the nearby main road mentioned in other reviews. It looks enormous on Google Earth, but for most of the time, it's not a busy road at all. You can cross it easily, and reach the unspoilt beach on foot in five minutes. If you're driving the region it's a big plus to be able to get straight onto it and away.

A great hotel, that has assessed the slight weakness of its location and priced accordingly. You get top service and quality that more than compensates.

Just returned after a second singles holiday this year to the Rebin Beach Hotel, again it lived up to all expectations ,everywhere is spotlessly clean, had a lovely room with a view of mountains and a beautiful sunrise over them, food again good had a turkish night which was fun again the staff and Betul joined in,special thanks to Aydin for the dancing, Mehmet for taking care of us at breakfast and dinner,Adem for calming me down when my transfer was an hour late and for all the phone calls to sort it ,and Ibo the nicest barman in Turkey ,thank you all ,hopefully see you all next May,

Please ignore the negative comments about the road it's not a problem to cross and I think the noise from it at the hotel is not an issue .

Stayed at the Rebin Beach Hotel and it was very relaxing indeed.
Clean rooms, nice food, very friendly ownersthat run the hotel, super clean and big pool.
Not that far from the beach.Need to cross a main road and walk 4 minutes max
Would go again anytime and recommend to anybody that is looking for a relaxing clean hotel.
Hardly any children at the hotel when we went.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the pool are the best and quiet

this was our first trip to turkey and when we go away usually stop in a larger hotel we booked this trip only 2 weeks prior to travelling. we could not have chosen a better place to stay. the hotel was fantastic. the staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you, iboo was great and met us at the hotel entrance on arrival about 11pm and took our luggage straight to our room. the room was very spacious, clean and towels changed daily, bedding every other day. room had air con. food was great typically turkish. meals were buffet style and you could sit inside our outside. great setting, nice gardens with herbs and lemon trees around the grounds pool was large, clean and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. owners of the hotel sat at bar at night chatting and making sure everyone was ok. had barbacue night with belly dancer and turkish dancers another night. the hotel was a 5 min walk to beach which had beds and parasols for hire. there were bars and restraunts along promenade. you could get dolmus over the road from the hotel which took you into fethiye which was about a 20 min journey. the road people go on about was not a busy road but you do have to be careful crossing. a lot of people we met at the hotel had been going for quite a few years and gave us quite a lot of local information. there were not a lot of english people at hotel which was great, you felt you were on holiday . there are plenty of trips to go on which you can book on the promenade. we did the 12 island tour which was well worth the money. cost about 12 pounds for a full day out with lunch and pick up and drop off at hotel. we have ony just come back and looking at booking the rebin beach again for next year. a fantastic hotel, fantastic staff, fantastic location cannot fault it at all.. thankyou alll for making our first trip to turkey memorable and enjoyable

The hotel has a very nice pool and is located only 5 minutes walk from Calis Beach. Staff is friendly and helpfull. The room was spacious and comfortable. It is not a very fancy hotel but great for a summer holiday and close to nice places like Saklikent gorge, Butterfly Valleyetc. So even if you do not want to spend all your time next to the pool or at the beach there is plenty to do in the neighbourhood.
