Just got back from the Seastar Aparthotel. It was so good I have already booked to go back! Very convenient location close to beach, supermarket and dolmus. The owners were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms and pool area was spotless. Food was also very good. Have had many holidays all over Turkey but this was the best place yet. Not 5 star but family run and just a nice size where there was a personal touch that you could not pay for!! Rooms were light and airy and a good size. There was a comfortable bed and a good shower with plenty of hot water- what more can you ask for at this price.

Room Tip: Try and get a room at the front or overlooking the pool as more sun on balcony

Fantastic holiday , apartments are spotless , hotel owners are very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Apartment only a 5 minute walk from the beautiful calis beach. Snack bar next to the pool if you are hungry and can get a drink and a something to eat at a reasonable price. The hotel owners ( Ahmet and Leyla ) took us on a boat trip with the other people staying at the apartment and it was amazing. They took us round the crystal clear bays and then had a BBQ from the fish Ahmet caught. Will definitely be coming this year after having an amazing holiday last year.

The Seastar Apart Hotel is located at Calis Beach, which is 5kms away from Fethiye. Since we just wanted a quiet beach to relax for a couple of days, the location was perfect.

The hotel is not on the beach (and if your budget allows it, I would definitely recommend you book a hotel on the beach) - but it was not far off at all - just cross the main road and a 5-10 minute walk and you're at the beach. We had rented a two-wheeler for the time we were there so it was very convenient for us. Even otherwise, Calis Beach is a ten minute walk away, and Fethiye is a 20 minute bus ride away (and the bus stops on the road opposite the house)

The apartment itself is fantastic value for money. In two months of traveling across Europe, we haven't found a better deal. Our apartment was huge - bedroom, bathroom and living room with kitchen. Its extremely comfortable. The bedroom is a decent size, and the living area is pretty big. The kitchen is adequate for basic stuff. There's a super market right opposite to pick up stuff.

The only downside is that the kitchen utensils are not very clean - if they just put a scrub and liquid/soap, then guests could clean the utensils better. But its just a minor quibble, and this is really a place about which you can't complain.

We truly enjoyed staying here, and even extended our stay here by another day, and would have happily spent a whole week here if our itinerary allowed it. Its excellent value for money.

This is the first review i have added but i thought it was important as our experience was extremely upsetting and i would not want other people to have the same. We booked our accomodation baised on the reviews that we read on trip advisor.
We arrived at the Seastar Apartments very late after a 10 hour delay with Monarch airlines. We couldnt fault the airline as they gave us a hotel room to pass the time as soon as we checked in.
The owner of Seastar never introduced himself so i have no name to address him by. It was late in the evening and he did point directions to the mini market.
I use the term very broadly (apartment) was filthy. We bought bleach and used the entire bottle cleaning the bathroom. There was a two ring camping stove to cook on. We turned it on and the room filled with smoke and the smell of burnt food. All glasses cups and crockery were dirty.
The worst part of the Seastar experience was that there was no hot water! it was horrendous.. As it was raining we were told that there was no hot water until 6pm as the solar panels were not activated. When we didnt arrive for the 6pm allocated slot we were questioned where we had been for the day and why we werent there for 6pm.
.I have to admit that the weather for the first couple of days was awful. Raining.
We looked for flights to return home but they were far to expensive so we walked along the seafront in calis beach to find a hotel for the rest of our stay.
We were extremely lucky to find a Hotel Ceren. They could not not have been more helpful, supportive and sympathetic to our situation. It was entirely due to Hotel Ceren that we enjoyed the rest of our holiday.
Seastar Hotel should be ashamed of thremselves. The most unfriendly place i have ever stayed.

This was our 4th trip to Calis but the first time at the Seastar Aparthotel. The owners Ahmet and Leila are a very nice helpful couple always on hand to help with anything you need to know. Ahmet will arrange a boatrip for you which is excellent value, food was really good and the little bays we stopped in were excellent for swimming. The apartment was very spacious and cleaned on a regular basis, clean towels every day. The swimming pool is kept beautifully clean with lots of space and sunbeds around the pool area. There are lots of restaurants on the promenade at Calis, we liked the Bella Mamma and the Nil bar, but if you like lentil soup visit the authentic turkish restaurant called the soup kitchen which if you walk along the main road and come to the traffic lights turn left and it is a little way up on the right hand side of the road. We will definately be going back to Calis next year.

We stayed at Seastar in Calis Beach a couple of years ago and having really enjoyed it returned this year. We were not disappointed. Our ground floor apartment had a bedroom, bathroom (with excellent shower) kitchen/living room and balcony all of which were a decent size. (I don't know what the equipment is like if you want to cook as we didn't use it). The apartment was comfortable and kept clean by the very cheerful cleaning lady.

The pool, which was a decent size, and surrounding areas were excellent and kept very clean. It was a very easy place to relax.

The beach was 6/7 minutes walk away and there was a small supermarket within 200 metres. You can catch a dolmus just across the road and it costs just 2 Turkish lira to travel into Fethiye. Alternatively for 5 TL you can take the water taxi into Fethiye. This is a really nice little trip across the Bay of Fethiye.

There are dozens of restuarants within a 15 minute walk of the Seastar. If you want to sample Turkish cuisine it is well worth going into Fethiye where there are many more authentic and atmospheric Turkish restuarants and less of the fast food that can be found in quite a few of the restuarants in Calis.

The Seastar arranges boat trips and although the one we went on was ok it was, in our opinion, not as good or indeed as good value as those you can get from Fethiye where there is a better choice of trips, boats and on board food. Pretty well all the companies will pick you up from and return you to your hotel.

The Seastar is in no way luxurious and it does not have pretensions of grandeur. It is however a very pleasant, welcoming and relaxed place and at less than £12 per night for two people represented great value for money.

We would definately go back again

Room Tip: Rooms 101, 103, 105 and 107 are on the ground floor and at the back of the building. Their balconies...

We have just returned from a lovely holiday at these apartments. There is a lovely friendly feeling here, only 18 apartments. The pool was kept beautifully clean, plenty of sunbeds and a snack bar on site.Rooms were a decent size.
Ahmet and Leila are a lovely friendly couple, always helpful.Ahmet arranges boat trips that are a fantastic day out with a lovely buffet for lunch and cake in the afternoon.
Buses are available within a few minutes walk.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are cooler.
