Having just returned from this complex, I thought that it was great location. We stayed in the neptune block which was further back from the sea front. As we stepped out of the apartment we were at the side of the swimming pool. I found the location quiet and relaxing and not too far from the main bar & amenties. I would have hated to be overlooking the sea front as it would have been too noisy. The bar area host a weekly turkish evening with full meze & belly dancer / flame thrower. I can certainly reccommoend the Turkish bath on site even if you only go for a massage & the hairdresser on site offers many services. There is also a well stocked supermarket with fresh bread daily. The dolmus stops directly outside the complex and it is only 2 turkish lira (80p) to go a short distance or stay on it into the main town of Fetiye.

This has the most idyllic settings you would want on a holiday. The rooms have everything you would need and if you have downstairs room you walk directly out to your pool which is a really good size and quiet

Clean well made decent location well designed apartments - all ok

Glad we had a sea facing room because would have felt a bit hamster in a wheel if further in the complex.

A bit impersonal - it felt that it was just an apartment in a block of identical apartments, but that was ok for us

Although at farthest end of beach from the action, this is good because its quieter and nicer and the dolmus service is great - regular and cheap

Overall - nothing great about this place but would be happy to recommend it to others
Spa was a good point

Some points:

For us, ideally situated, literally a quiet road and then the beach which is very quiet during the day. Stony but the sea is warm and clean.

Breeze comes off the sea which makes it much better to sit there than the swimming pools.

Sunbeds free of charge

Sunset Beach has no main reception and no notice board with info on it.

Supermarket on site stocks essentials, including fresh milk so breakfast things and cold drinks - not too expensive, but expensive enough!

There is a supermarket 10 mins left out of the apartments which is bigger and cheaper. If you want to do a huge shop, there is a Kipa (part of Tesco) which you can get to on the bus but perhaps would need a taxi to get back. We didnt need it - just depends on your own requirements.

We arrived late at night, secuity guard gave us key to our 2 bedroom apartment. Nobody came in to change the bed/towels throughout the week - but that may depend on your booking. We had a washing machine.

Wi Fi can be got in the reception area - ask the pool bar for the password.

Turn left out of Sunset and Calis is about a 15/20 minute walk. It was lovely to walk down in the evening and down the sea front to see the sun set.

Transport is easy - every 5 mins a Dolmus bus comes past the complex which is 2 TL wherever you are going - 100 yds or all the way to Fethiye. It stops where you want to get off. We loved it. No need for taxis.

On Sunday is the Calis market and Thursday the Feithye market (buses go to them) and coming back, just get on a bus with Calis on it.

TAt night, there was no noise on the complex and security at both entrances.

All in all. Loved it and would go back. Lovely to have the feeling of space in the whole area.

Room Tip: I would try to stay away from the Reception/Pool Bar area if you want to be quiet!

We stayed in Seashell 12 from 20th July - 3rd August. The apartment is brilliant, we had two levels which suited us really well as there were 4 adults. There was everything you needed, dishwasher, TV, DVD, ipod dock, although we don't tend to watch TV when we are away. The pool area was fantastic, it was like having your own private pool, considering the size of the complex it was really quiet, and the most at anyone time in the pool was 4 or 5 people.

Calis is excellent, the restraunts are probably the best we have encountered, and we have travelled around most of the world. The Turkish people are also really nice.

One of the best eating places near to the complex is the Oben restraunt, just a short stroll from Sunset Beach Club, probably about 10/15 minutes. If you turn left when leaving, when you come to the rough ground walk across until you reach the promenade, then the Oben is on the left.

All the restraunts are really good, but another one called the Brothers in the main town is also excellent.

Also if you turn right outside the complex and walk about 100 yards you come to the surf club, which offers free sun beds, and is also very nice.

The beach and sea out side are lovely and the sea is never crowded, only a few people in at any one time.

We went on a boat trip which went from Oulez Denis, brilliant for the money, cost us £12 each, taxi pick up, and taxi drop off, arrived back at 6.45 excellent value for money.

The Turkish scenery is gorgeous, all in all we had a fantastic time and will be going back.

We recently returned from a two week break at the Sunset Beach Club, and it was an absolutely terrific experience! four of us stayed in one of the Sea Shell apartments which had two separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom and shower so personally space wasn't an issue.

The apartment was very clean and had all of the mod cons and was perfect for our stay.

the complex itself was great. The five pools meant that there was plenty of space for everyone on the complex and at no point during our stay were there more than around 5 people in the pool at anyone time.

The complex is located right on the beach and it takes literally 2 minutes to walk there, and there are a selection of beach bars about 200 metres away which offer free sun loungers and bean bags if you'd prefer.

The bar/restaurant offered lovely food and the drinks were also reasonably priced considering it was the only bar on site.

The complex and apartments are very quiet and relaxing, but because of that you'll find that it's a 20 minute walk to the centre of the Calis resort...however i'd recommend the walk because it really does offer beautiful views of the sunset as you walk along the front. If walking isn't your thing there is a taxi rank right outside and it'll cost 12 lira (around 4 pounds) to take you to the resort centre.

Overall we found the sunset Beach Club to be an excellent location for our holiday and would highly recommend it! We shall be going back!
