We arrived very late and despite being very nice we were given the wrong room type. We had booked and paid for a deluxe. When phoning down were told it was a deluxe. Thank goodness for the free WiFi, so we could show them there own website which displays the rooms. We were then moved without fuss. As they say a picture paints a thousand words!
When we went to unpack your only provided with two coat hangers. Two people and fourteen days worth of clothes, you do the ,this is just ridiculous and shameful. In the morning asked for some more, we ended up with two more, and told no more available. Also they have no iron, but you can get it done for a charge.
The staff in this hotel are fairly nice and helpful. They do not go above and beyond, and there is no delivery of high customer service here. It's all a bit ok. There are two exceptions here. The female receptionist with the red hair is just great and her local tips are really spot on. Ibrahim who is a waiter is the polar opposite he talks to you and looks at you like you are something that has dropped out of his bottom.
The rooms are a good size and very clean. The bathroom is really good also. Your room is cleaned and everything is changed daily. There is only one English TV channel, but that was not a problem.
The grounds are well kept and there is a small pool, which is surrounded by high end pool furniture. There are towels provided and you usually get a bed. However be warned that some of the staff have friends in, and for some strange reason quite a lot of ex pats hang out here, taking up beds and talking loudly about themselves. Usually by about two they take themselves off to the restaurant and stay there all afternoon still talking about themselves. They leave their fake Versace towel's on the beds so no one can use the beds. I will say with these ex pats that England's loss is Turkey's gain, not!
Avoid the hamam or spa, nasty staff who only want to up sell.
So basically the management need to do a lot better. When the manager leaves for the day, some of the staff take the Michael, but that is for the manager to deal with himself.
This is perhaps the most disappointing hotel I have ever stayed at. It could have been great. It has all the right ingredients, but it looks to me like its not managed well, such a shame.
