Hats off to the magnifico who designed this place with its multi-levels, natural materials and overall groovy charm. It definitely is a place one doesn't really want to ever leave. Mainly in part to those running the joint who really make you feel you are part of the scenery. Dinner time was dazzling with a large array of hot and cold dishes. Every area, from the showers to the firepit has been touched with special details. There was nothing lacking, always an option to join the melee or rest quietly in the banquettes and watch the stars. The beach is close enough to cool off, but far enough to allow you to breathe deep the forests beauty.
Only one complaint: the adjacent neighbour plays inappropriate music (perfect for a club environment) that clashes with the perfectly selected grooves from Reflections system.

Room Tip: Ask to have a look around so you can decide since they have so many variations. I stayed in 'gra...

I went there in 20th June and it was a great experience! I was with two friends and we rented a bungalow (the price was 55tl per night 'cause low season). The place is very nice, all in the nature and with nice view. The staff was very nice too and really available. I read some bad thing on Tripadvisor but i think it depends on the period, sure in august is more crowded and the service and the attentions could be minor, but in June I absolutely suggest to everybody!

Reading reviews for Reflections, I did not know what to think; older chronicles of stay are universally bad- while more recent tales are all together rosy. What accounts for the difference? Were those positive fictions? I would discover the truth was a change in ownership. Lodging choices in Kabak valley are many; features that lead me to select Reflections were 1) price, 2) quality of food, 3) distance to the beach, 4) view, 5) bedding, 6) toilet amenities, 7) mesquite previsions, and 8) noise.

We paid 75 TL per person for a room accommodating 3 with an attached toilet and stunning view of the cannon cliffs- less than half the starting rate offered by more refined venues right on the beach. The architecture consists of crude wood butchery of no great esthetic, yet not without charm, nestled amongst shading pines. The clapboard walls are open at top to the roof, with a half wall facing the forest and cliffs unshuttered; the result is airy and unconfined- a welcome thing on a hot afternoon. The toilet is separated from the sleeping area by a partition, but no door; water pressure was functional, hot when needed; all was clean. The bedding was comfortable and linens clean; a misquote net provided respite. The only concession made is to listening privacy, as there is little barrier to sound; that said, the owners of Reflections eschew noise, foregoing the peace-destroying thump-thump-thump of the seemingly ubiquitous base beat and contrived party atmosphere inflicted by other venues; my sleep was never threatened or impinged upon. Although the door to the cabin only locks by slide latch from the inside, valuables may be left with the stewards for safe keeping. Rain did not penetrate. A similar room without toilet ran 65 TL; considering how pleasant, clean, and private the common toilets, I would not hesitate in the future to accept the more economic option.

The majority of the site features lit cobbled paths winding around the central structure holding the kitchen, bar, and observation decks/dining areas. The decks are generally appointed with shade netting, low central tables, and reclined pillow seating- though one featured a more conventional arrangement for those who prefer or require it; all is clean and fresh, with no taint of mildew. Like the cabin, the charm is rustic. The views of the sea are partly impinged on, positioned near the tree tops. Music is relaxed and played at an ambient volume, not competing unduly with the sound of the sea. A large black mulberry tree is straddled by the bar, providing the best fruit of that type I have ever tasted. The included dinner and breakfast were better than any I have yet had at a panssion, making the stay a delight and price a decisive bargain. Reflections is operated by the owners- welcoming, attentive hosts who never failed to make us feel of primary importance; among the other guests we met were repeat customers. Prices at the bar were on the lower side of the spectrum of what is typical in the valley- about 7 TL for a beer, 1.5 TL for water.

The approach to Reflections from the mountain path is veiled by a hippie camp that represents their accommodations not at all, and other wise did not impinge on our stay. The beach is about a 7 minute walk, at most. Frankly, I did not envy any closer accommodation; while there were glass-enclosed thatched roofed cabins with air-conditioning and the like just off the beach, their atmosphere was sterile, institutional, and impersonal, prices considerably higher, and the sound of surf imposing. All of my criteria were well met by Reflections… and surpassed by the ineffable desire to linger and relax; I'll most definitely stay there on future visits to the valley.

I stayed for a week at Reflections and I loved it so much I didn't want to leave. The people working there were absolutely lovely, the atmosphere was relaxing and friendly, and the accommodation was just beautiful. It's one of my most favourite places where I've stayed while traveling for the last 7 months. Don't go there if luxury is what you're looking for, but go there if you want to have an authentic experience.

I was there last week and I liked it so much, As I have been told, owners of the place is different now and they are so friendly and professional. The place itself so clean, lovely amongst the trees. Have a nice bar overlooking sea. Food was just perfect. Rooms are large enough, I loved the earthbag ones most and will stay there next time in Fall. Strongly recommended.

Room Tip: Earth bag ones just perfect particularly for couples

Very upset with the experience. It was the most expensive accomodation during our trip to Turkey (180 TL for a "deluxe bungalow") and we expected to be the most charming one, in an aislated and idyllic place. The bungalow just seemed still under construction...with screws' points getting out of the wooden doors, and from the floor (definitely the bungalow wasn't fit for children). The bathroom light was just a light bulb hanging from a cable that you should move around from the other room. There was not even a mirror in the bathroom (I need it for wearing my contact lenses!!), ok, there might have been one in the common bathroom, but we were paying for having our own...
No air con, we knew that, but they could put a fan at least, since in summer during the day it's 40º and you bake there during the night as well...
The room had 2 windows, one of them didn't have any kind of curtain..ok, the view was the wood only, but still...and so much light in the morning...). The same window with no curtain had no mosquito net neither and we had to leave it totally open cause of the heat, and yes, there are mosquitos...
There's a mosquito net badly hanged on the bed..
No place for hanging towels. No place for hanging wet clothes...

For the same price we paid you can get one of their stoned room...they looked nicer and fresher...

Breakfat was pretty good. The dinner was nothing special, but I'm sure that a vegetarian would appreciate it more...

The place is about 10 minutes walk from the beach, nice walk in the wood but pretty steep trail.

We found the staff pretty cold too, above all if compared with our other expeariences in Turkey, everywere we found so nice people

We just spent there one night and definitely, we wouldn't repeat.
