stayed 5th june to 15th june 2011. firstly, booked a 'standard' double room via booking.com. upon email confirmation i emailed the hotel direct and asked for a sea view. they accomodated this at no extra charge. a lovely view of the bay and marina.
The hotel is situated overlooking the marina and about a 5 minute walk along the marina from the old town of fethiye. it is far enough away that you dont hear all the hustle and bustle but not to far from anything you might need.
there are 3 little shops within about 40 metres of the hotel for any of the little things you might need and the marina has its own little supermarket too.
The restaurant in the hotel is good. the chef is very accomodating. the evening menu is surprisingly reasonably priced in comparison to the restaurants in the town and the food was great. one thing that lets it down slightly in my opinion is one aspect of the buffet breakfast-its only minor in the grand scheme but still doesnt match the experience of the hotel in other areas. the breakfast caters for all, with fresh bread, fruit and the usual selection of hams and cheeses but its mildly annoying that all the fruit juices are squash and not real juice! it just seems out of sync with the rest of the offering........strange.
the hotels biggest asset is its staff, they really are a friendly and polite group and will go out of their way to help with any requests, always willing to have a joke or brighten the day. Look out for Ugur and his strangely english sense of sarcasm!!! great guy.
The pool is lovely and we went during quite a quiet period, there were enough sun loungers to go round and there were also 4 4poster beds to chill out on too as well as various sofas and chairs. the staff provide a nice touch every day by coming round with frozen hand towels and fresh fruit bowls in the afternoon, its a nice touch.
finally, the room. its was spacious and clean and came with free wifi (again a nice extra), maid cleans every day and changes the towels etc.... one thing to note is that there is no bath, its a shower only. fine for me, but my wife does like to soak in a bath every now and again.
In summary i would highly recommend the hotel and will definately be back. Really good value and great staff.

Room Tip: ask for a marina view room when you have booked

The wonderful staff make this hotel a delightful place to visit, it is much better than a 3* hotel. Myself and my wife have just spent a 10 night stay at this hotel and were very impressed by the level of service from the well trained and very friendly staff - nothing is too much trouble for them in making your stay a great experience.

The standard of the rooms, cleanliness, and facilities are very good and they are well built with no noise from adjoining rooms. The hotel has great views overlooking the Marina and is only 150 Metres from their sister hotel "the Yacht classic", as a guest of either you can use all the first class facilities including in the "classic" Spa treatments.

The hotel has a truly wonderful terrace restaurant, with incredible views over the marina - the menu is extensive and caters for all tastes, you must try the Prawns in garlic which come served Flambe' to your table (not for the faint hearted) and the steaks are cooked perfectly.

The pool area is quite small but does have great facilities including four poster type double bed loungers, a pool bar, which bring complimentary drinks and wonderful iced towels during your sunbathing. The minimum water depth is 1.65 metres in the pool so is not ideal for non swimmers or unattended small children.

The location of the hotel is good and is close to the town where the shops stock everything you might need on holiday, take few clothes with you as you can buy good "Genuine Fake" designer labels at good prices.

The fishing boats in the marina clean their nets on their return from fishing which ensures there are plentiful visits from Giant Turtles in the harbour and can be seen and photographed daily.

The small local shop across the road from the Yacht Boutique is wonderful and the owner cannot do enough too help. We have now visited Turkey twice in nine months and we find the holiday is made by the lovely friendly Turkish people.

I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday experience.

Room Tip: floors 2 and 3 overlooking the pool and Marina

Stayed at Yacht Boutique after one week sailing the Aegean in early June. We were met with a friendly smile, an ice cold welcome drink and then an upgraded to a marina view room. Rooms are well sized, clean and packed with all amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was Turkish and Western selection with a chef making eggs to order and all served on the roof top terrace overlooking the marina......a great start to the day ! We had such a great first night we requested an extension for the following night, unfortunately the hotel was full, however the efficient staff called me back 5 minutes later to advise that they could book us into their sister property Yacht Classic Hotel 300 metres on the same road. All staff went out of their way to assist, moving our baggage for us from one property to the next - and we were not disappointed with the sister property either. A great place to stay in Fethiye!

We had a lovely room with a balcony and it felt like we were in our own home. But then we knew that we weren't, because the breakfast on the upstairs terrace was one we didn't have to cook. There was a huge offering of breakfast items and the staff kept pouring tea or coffee. The staff behind the desk were equally as engaging and helpful. It was difficult to leave this charming little hotel.

We weren't at all sure what to expect when we arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning. We were met at the door and shown straight to our room. We were a little disappointed with our room initially as it was on the small side but as we didn't expect to spend much time in it, we weren't too bothered. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. We were aware that larger rooms existed but in the end we settled for what we got.
Our first experience of the wonderful staff was the next day at breakfast. The roof terrace restaurant is really lovely. Morning sunshine and spectacular views across the marina and sea beyond make it all the more inviting. As for the restaurant itself, it is comfortably furnished and spacious. The breakfast has to be seen to be believed...every conceivable breakfast ingredient from cheese, fruit and cereals to cooked items like eggs, sausages and mushrooms. There is a chef who stands in the middle of the restaurant and cooks omelettes to order. It is the staff though who make breakfast such a memorable event each and every morning. Always at your table checking you have what you want ...smiling, chatting and then unfailingly wishing you a good day as you leave. One waiter in particular was memorable to say the least. Think Basil Fawlty but without the rudeness!!! I think his name is Urg but I am not sure. You cannot miss him though...he is just so funny! He really made the holiday for us. He pops up all over the hotel - at the pool and in the restaurant in the evening. The quality of service is exceptional throughout the hotel and really lifts this hotel above its star rating. It deserves a higher one in my opinion. Make sure you eat in the restaurant in the evening. The food is extremely good and the sunset and night skies are spectacular. There is a comfortable lounge next to the reception area and you are brought lemon granita if you choose to sit there. Just another example of the hotel's desire to please. All in all we couldn't fault this hotel; it was a truly wonderful experience. We would definitely return.

I stayed at the Yacht Boutique Hotel for a week in late May, after my plans for a week in Syria had to be postponed. The hotel is beautiful, in a nice location right on the marina, so it is a short walk into the town proper and the harbor where all of the gulets are anchored. My room was quite nice and fairly spacious, with a nice bath (great shower!), but was on a lower floor, so I had a view of the clotheslines of the building next door. It didn't bother me, but others might want to request a room facing the harbor or on a higher floor. There is a very nice restaurant on the roof terrace, which serves a fairly lavish breakfast -- lots of different cheeses and olives, tomatoes and fruit, omelets on demand, cereals, local jams, etc. I only had dinner there one night, which was perfectly good, but there are no Turkish items on the menu! I suspect that it is because the hotel seems to cater to older British couples, who prefer more familiar "Continental" cuisine. I found it to be a drawback, and went into Fethiye for my other meals.

There is free internet service in the rooms, but it doesn't seem to extend to the restaurant or pool, which is unfortunate.

The highlight of the hotel for me was the pool. Although there are good beaches a short distance out of town, since I was alone I preferred to remain at the hotel pool, which is furnished with very nice sunbeds and loungers. The pool itself is a salt water pool, sparkling clean and very refreshing. The barman at the pool, Can (pronounced John), is very pleasant and quick to supply anything that you might need -- drinks, snacks, towels, etc. I spent several pleasant afternoons at the pool, reading a book, getting some sun and chatting with Can and some of the other guests.

If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, the Yacht Hotel is a good choice. It's also great as a launching point for gulet cruises around the Aegean, although I didn't participate in one this trip.
