as it says on the tin ! Stunning !!! Fantastic just returned from one week 25th October start, 2 adults 2 children boys 7 and 9 x We loved every minute x Food was not amazing but plentiful and good, i didn't fancy the a la cartes but there was always cakes pizza chips salads on top of the main resteraunts. The drinks were strong. The entertainment team were outstanding and naturally funny - real dancers too. Rooms were basic but comfy, to update them would destroy the character !. Everyone was very friendly the market was ace! No meither just a lot of fun banter and tonnes of great stuff from Hollister trackies, football kits, ds games the list goes on. Peninsular itself is stunning - beaches and views are amazing. Water slides into the sea, pedaloes, canoes, wind surfing. Best looking place i've ever been. Lots of places to wander around, several bars, a night club..the shuttle boat goes across to Fethiye daily, this is also great in which to shop and eat. The whole resort is covered in trees and hills and surrounded by a backdrop of mountains. You can take a cab to Olu Deniz easily and its not expensive. I look to explore and try different places but would I go back ? Ive not unpacked yet but yes im looking at booking tonight xxxx Thankyou Letoonia staff xxx

Room Tip: All similar might be worth affording a two bed for a large balcony

Stayed here in may this year. It is upmarket and sits on its own peninsula across from the town of Fethye.
As its s peninsula, three beaches and coves surround the hotel resort.
We found the food good, the service great and the facilities excellent.
Usually the entertainment in resorts is aweful. Not here! The best I've seen. Magic shows, theatre, tribute acts and more.

Great for couples, families, friends or singles. There's something for everyone.

Highly recommended

Have just spent a week here on honeymoon. The resort's location is absolutely breathtaking and we were lucky enough to have a sea view bungalow very close to all the ameneties. The best thing about this hotel is the location on it's own private peninsula and the grounds which are beautiful. As it was near the end of the season it was very quiet which meant plenty of space for everyone with lots of sunbeds, hammocks or v. comfy beanbags always available although weirdly people still felt the need to reserve sunbeds with towels - don't do that it's selfish and unnecessary! You can also walk around the waterline easily as it is flat and paved all the way round with yet another stunning view around every corner. The rest of the resort is very hilly and would probably not suit someone with mobility difficulties. The food was good in all the restaurants and we particularly enjoyed our Turkish meal right on the beach despite the fact that at night it gets really cold in October. There are plenty of activities included in the price, canoes, windsurfing, exercise classes, etc. which was a bonus and not something you usually get at other all inclusive hotels. I don't like negative reviews but there are a few things that could be better. Almost all the staff are surly and don't seem at all happy, you have to get your own drinks in the restaurants as there is no waiter service, housekeeping is poor, apart from making the bed nothing was cleaned (including the bathroom!) during our stay and we had to take stuff from the restaurant to re-stock the tea try in the room. Letoonia is over 25 years old and in places it shows, with better service and attention to detail it could be absolutely fabulous, that said the positives of the place outweigh the negatives and I'd have no hesitation in going back.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room with a sea view. We had room 1063 which wasn't at the top of the mountain so was easily accessible.

Have just returned from Letoonia, having stayed the first two weeks of october. | first visited Turkey 30 years ago and have stayed in most of the holiday regions and most classes of hotel including the 5 star complexes at Lara Beach. Without dought Club Letoonia is the best i have ever stayed in.First, the whole peninsula is stunningly beautiful, kept immaculately clean by the many, many gardeners. The range of activities on offer, from sailing to badminton is mind boggling..It is the attention to detail however which make it stand out from other resorts, such as when you walk along the path[ Block paved all the way]which fringes the sea all the way round the peninsula, there are water dispensers, showers and plastic changing huts at strategic locations.
To correct some wrong comments in other reviews; The beaches are shingle. No the beaches are fine gently sloping sand. Along the pathway it is shingle and swimming depth very quickly. The accomodation does not have balconies; Wrong, our balcony had a full size settee and two tables one with chairs and a sea view through the tree tops t o Fethiye. The accomodation out past the theatre does not have balconies, it has a bay window instead. The food is often cold; Well we never had dinner before 8PM and it was never even cool, also with many things being cooked fresh on the griddle on to your plate too hot was more likely. The staff on reception were surly and unhelpful and bar staff kept you waiting serving the non English first. What a load of rubbish, every member of stall i had the pleasure of meeting was courteous pleasant and very efficient. Every one was served in strict rotation
To finish, Thank you Letoonia for a wonderful holiday, I can not wait to be back the same two weeks next year

Room Tip: If steps are a problem choose accommodation near to a travellator or the main hotel

Have just spent 10 days at Letoonia with my daughter (she's 34 and me 54). We chose this resort for its stunning location and beaches. Having read all the glorious reviews I chose to ignore some of the less positive ones. I am not usually one to complain and don't consider myself to be at all fussy as long as I have some lovely sea to swim in I'm happy. However, I feel that I there are some negatives that need pointing out.

I'll start with the positives: Absolutely stunning location with very calm sea and a real feel of paradise. I have some very happy memories of swimming out to the jetties and chilling out in the sun. Lovely weather even in October it was reaching the low 30's. Loved our little "pink house", which was one of the bungalows not too far up from reception. Very quiet and peaceful and the maids spoilt us with clean sheets and towels every day. They were very friendly and gave an excellent service. You could change your beach towels for clean ones as many times as you like which was a nice luxurious feel. Had a Haman and paid for a body scrub and massage. Well worth the money it was an experience that I can't wait to repeat. Huge variety of different foods. Great mix of cultures staying at the hotel. We found the Russians to be very friendly and polite. If you speak to them you will find that they can converse a little in English and we enjoyed some interesting conversations. They have taken some very unfair racist comments which are completely unfair and bigoted. Entertainment was of a much higher standard than we have been used to.

Now for the negatives:
Staff...many were quite sullen and I am not used to this on holiday. I appreciate that they work very hard but I had the impression that they were treated very badly and were not allowed to have fun or become too friendly with the guests. There were however some who made us feel very special and I thank them very much.
Isolation...not the hotel's fault but we didn't realise on booking that it was so expensive to get around. Not on the bus route so we used taxis which were quite expensive. Fine if you like to stay in the resort but we hadn't been to Turkey before and we always like to sea a bit of the local culture. After a few days we began to feel "trapped". We went to Fethyia on the boat but it was so huge and we didn't have time to see much there. Loads and loads of shops but we ended up getting a taxi back rather than queue for the boat. Vey beautiful though. We also went to the blue lagoon..amazing to watch the para gliders coming down. They looked like small specs in the sky at first as the apparently the mountain they jump from is so huge you can't even see it. We also went to the "party" town of Hisaronu one night. We had a lovely meal in the Lemon Tree followed by some great fun and entertainment in one of the bars there. This made me want to go back there in the future as you could catch the Dolmus from there easily down to Oludeniz.
Food...On my third day there I went down with a severe attack of dysentery. Luckily it only lasted about 12 hours but for the rest of the holiday I couldn't face much of the food on offer. We had noticed that a lot of it was luke warm but it was on our final day that we realised why. We both had a lovely looking chicken dish with some potato wedges and both were stone cold in places. We had thought that as we were there at the start of lunch that it would be piping hot. It then dawned on us that the food tray had been taken from the fridge and just placed in the bain marie to warm up. VERY, VERY POOR food hygiene practices. Food needs to be heated thoroughly and kept hot to minimise growth of bacteria. I do not expect to pay good money to be put at a high risk of food poisoning. We pointed this out to the waiter and he gave us a drink and made a special fuss of us but the cold food remained in the bain marie, a dangerous breeding ground for bacteria. My daughter was so furious that she made a complaint to the Customer Relations Officers. We were given form to fill in but have heard nothing back. I do not understand why there haven't been more complaints regarding the food. I've stayed all inclusive before and quite frankly have had better in a 3 *. A lot of it tasted the same and some was quite bland. I ended up living on melon, chees and bread as I was afraid that I would get ill again.
Air con was completely ineffective. Told reception but they just thought we didn't know how to use it. My daughter had some nasty Mozzie bites and the heat didn't help it at all. In fact one got infected and we needed to see the Dr. There is a Dr on site which was great and we only paid around a tenner for anti biotics. This was an excellent service at the Hotel.
Snakes...because the hotel is so rural and built into the mountain there are snakes there. My daughter happens to like reptiles but I have a bit of a phobia about snakes. Well guess what? My daughter did actually come across a small snake on the path. She did tell me for me to be aware but she didn't tell me until we came back that it was right by our room. As we were in the higher level of the bungalow she knew that it was unlikely that they would get into our room. She had read one review where one guest had one come into the room through the bathroom.
To sum up:
Looking back with mixed views of our holiday but we made the most of the good things there and had a relaxing if "interesting" time. Would go back to Turkey but definitely not to Letoonia.
PS really missing the sea and the beaches....absolutely gorgeous. Oh and make sure you take lots of comfortable shoes as it took us 3 days to get our bearings and actually got lost on 2 occasions trying to find our way back to our room. Lots of walking until you find which lifts etc to use.
