Truly wonderful destination, amazing beaches and swimming pools in beautiful grounds with outstanding food. We went in October Half Term and the facilities such as the children's entertainment (we were with a 12 year old) had wound down a little but the evening entertainment organised by the animation team was brilliant. Lots for children to do though still with water sports (kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, pedalos) included as well as free pool in the games room which kept my son entertained. Individual beaches and gardens in the resort are beautiful and immaculately kept.

Only minor point is that the bedrooms could do with an overhaul as date from when the resort was built in the 1980's but were kept very clean.

Only big disappointment from the holiday was going on an approved day trip recommended by our rep to see ancient tombs, mud baths and a boat trip to a turtle beach. The Baths and tombs were very good but the guide took us to a 'Traditional Carpet Factory' on the way called Daylan Carpets which was not supposed to be part of the trip. Obviously some very unethical goings on as my parents were sold a (small) rug which they wrapped carefully for flight travel (out of sight in a different room). They then discovered on their return that the rug had holes in and was badly frayed round the edges and was definitely not the same rug they chose at the 'factory'. No doubt the guide of the day trip has some cut of the takings from tourists. Avoid at all costs!!

We travelled for October half term and had a great break. The location and setting is beautiful with fantastic mountain, sea and garden views from a variety of aspects. The resort is self contained, all inclusive and away from direct local life; not something we would normally choose but as we were only there for 5 days and travelling with 2 young children, this fitted our bill perfectly.
The resort is spread over such a wide area and as it is set on a hill, with accommodation dotted around within the gardens it doesn't feel like some built up holiday resort. The gardens were full of flowers, even in October and they were maintained really well. When we went there, there were always quiet little coves, garden areas with loungers and/or hammocks to relax in. In fact this seemed like the perfect time to go; it never felt busy, we didn't have to queue and the weather was great. Unlike the previous reviewer we didn't experience the 'shut down' although we left on the Thursday of the week so maybe we just left in time! Only downside, the pools were too cold!
We went to all the restaurants, bars and also experienced the entertainment. We agreed with the previous reviewers - the Moonlight restaurant is lovely - romantic and beautiful setting and the food seemed pretty good too. We chose the main restaurant for breakfast usually - and sometimes the dolphin snack bar for lunch. The drinks were great - no short measures! We liked the marina beach best but all the little beaches were dependant on the sun as it moved round over the day. It was great that beach towels were readily available too.The entertainment was a pretty good quality if this is the sort of thing you like and the spa was wonderful - highly recommended! We also had an excursion via Thomson (although we had travelled independently I managed to collar the rep) and a trip to Fethiye via the ferry boat - both of which were worth doing.
Now the accommodation - I suppose it really is luck of the draw. Everyone will have preferences and if you are not happy with having a bit of a trek to your room, then ask for the main hotel. Otherwise the 'bungalows' seem to vary - most are pretty dated, some don't have balconies, some have stunning views and some can't acess wifi - I think you can wind yourself up in knots trying to get the perfect combination - I certainly did! Having said that the original rooms we were allocated (connected) weren't ok as our first two nights were spent on eggshells as we kept being awakened by scurrying in the room and also found droppings behind the fridge. I was really disappointed by the hotel's reaction to our concerns. We were eventually allocated to a couple of fantastic connecting rooms which we were very happy with. The maid service was good and some of the other staff were really friendly too. All in all, highly recommended.

Just returned from a 7 day holiday in club letoonia which started on 28th October half term week, On arrival the first two days of our holiday we was impressed with the resort, The bungalow was very clean, but tired looking, lovely views across the bay, good food, good entertainment, However after the secound day the resort started to close down around us. Restraunts one by one closeing leaving us with the choice of one, entertainment also came to a stop, and day time activities slowly came to a end. we however still had 4 days of our holiday left to go, The shuttle boat from the resort had cut it service so the only other option was to walk in fethiya which took 1hr 50mins, or a taxi costing 60tl return, overall our holiday experience was very disappointing, by going at a earlier date it would be a better holiday.
P.s we felt the staff could be more friendly and courteous.

Just returned from a 1 week holiday at the Letoonia and have to say after reading some of the reviews I really wonder what people want out of a holiday.
I've stayed in all inclusive for the last 18 years and I have no complaints at all. The food was varied ( not easy when they have many nationalities staying here); it was always piping hot and fresh and the chefs and waiters were very helpful. The Al a carte was also delicious. We ate at the sushi restaurant which was fantastic and at the dolphin fish restaurant on the beach. This time of year the resort was quiet which really suited us and even though the entertainment had also wound down, what we watched was very professional.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. It's on a huge site and was lovely to walk around. ( lifts were everywhere where they was steps).
There was secluded beaches and areas to sunbathe with lots of places for drinks and snacks; two pool areas on opposite sides of the resort and lots of activities on offer. You could do some water activities free too which was a nice extra.
When we arrived I didn't like our room. I didn't like being on the bottom floor which is just my preference. We went to reception and they showed us around some other rooms and we chose a room in the main hotel block. I loved being there. It was near a pool, restaurant, bar and beach and just far enough away from the main square which was a little busier. The resort is set away from Fethiye and the only way to get into town was either a taxi or boat ferry. The ferry was regular and a lovely way to see the mountains and surrounding bay.
We had a boat trip day out around islands which was beautiful and I think highly recommended.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and if I wanted to be a bit nit picky I could as I think you could about anywhere. After all you are in a foreign country with their culture and ideas.
Loved the holiday and resort especially at this time of year because it's a bit quieter. But cold at evening so take a cardi! !
P'S don't listen to the negative reviews, we didn't :)
