Last minute, first time in turkey for me, partner and 6 year old son Zac
Stunning place, very relaxing when you take a stroll about, a went for an early morning walk first day to get my bearings. Good idea to see the place and the beauty of it
We arrived after a fairly long transfer ( book a direct cab ) little info given in check in. Book a bungalow room but requested a hotel room if possible, this was granted.
Room was fine, small but modern third bed was a folding bed, took a lot of room up, just folded it up if needed.
Bathroom small but nice. No bath. Didn't bother us really.
Very small fridge unstocked with much but water.
Food as follows: many many very good quality salad options, with the addition of a make your eon salad station which was nice
(The two main buffet restaurants were very different I thought. The moonlight being the better by far, or if you can sit outside the Lycia restaurant overlooking the bay that's best as service much better)
No organisation in the indoor Lycia restaurant at all. They really needed someone to at least seat people. I on a few occasions had to lay my own table....other people I saw just stand at a table until it was cleared and reset.
Other food options; everything was always hot. Good start. Bread always fresh.
Chips on tap if needed.
Fresh fish every service. Sea bass, trout, sea bream
Roast chicken / turkey carvery
Veg was cooked so well ( ie broccoli) and not mushy at all...some achievement when catering for 100s of people
Terrible service compared to the alternative moonlight buffet. You had a drinks station on the way into the moonlight and the whole ambience was far better.
Desserts consisted of lots of baclava ( Turkish sweet cakes mainly with coconut)
The rice pudding pots were a nice touch
I could go on, but we were impressed by the food and it was not boring at all
The beaches were lovely. Who said the sea was awful in another review is wrong, not at all did we refrain from going in the sea due to it being dirty. Ignore that comment
The slides into the sea were lots of fun for our son who could swim to make it safe for him to use. He made friends every day and some special ones. Thanks to the three boys Jack, Noah, and Ruben playing with my son and leaving us your ball! Please get in touch if you read this so the boys can all perhaps play on minecraft! Zac has been asking.
Drinks were ok. Draft beer was Amstel. I asked for a mojito once and it was gladly made for me ( although with lemons not limes!)
There were lovely hammocks and swings dotted along the gardens and beach
Good touch is that you had water fountains dotted all alone the resort. So handy.
There were changing cubicles too on the beach and by the pools.
There is a lot going for this place, and I think when it's is all refurbished then it will be even more special.
Please chert all the staff up!
( apart from the last on the dolphin beach who made fantastic sweet and savoury pancakes all day)
Thanks letoonia for a lovely first time turkey experience. We had already booked to go to The Barut Lara in August so will have a comparison to make on out return.

Wow, after a lot of researching we decided on Letoonia and we are so pleased we did. A beautifully presented hotel in a stunning location. At first, the sight seems vast but within a couple of days it almost shrinks because you feel so at home there, it all becomes very familiar. We chose to base ourselves at The Marina Bar and Pool for breakfast and lunch and opted for the Moonlight restaurant for dinner which was such a calm and relaxing environment. The food was very tasty and varied, we didn't get bored and are left salivating for more. After our meal we would take a stroll along the beach back up to the Angora Square. We saw Rays, Turtles and massive crabs and this was a lovely part of our day. I have a 3 and a 6 year old and my parents who are in their late 50's, and have never been abroad, all felt very relaxed here. We had no trouble sleeping our Bungalow rooms were charming and very clean. The entertainment was amazing, we were there for 10 nights and there was a different show every night. The staff are friendly and helpful. I thought the all inclusive package was brilliant, we were never hungry or thirsty and the maid even noticed what tea we were drinking the most of and gave us extra of that type. Of an evening my parents would get a cup of milk from the bar staff to take up to their rooms to keep in the fridge for there morning cuppa! I have noticed people complaining about steps etc. We enjoyed walking to and from our room, the site is beautiful with many different plants and trees to look at and even a family of tortoises. We stayed away from the entertainment in the day and opted for the quiet Marina Pool and beach, I think the entertainment is pitched at the right level, take it or leave it with no pressure! Great holiday - we will return and recommend it to friends and family!

Room Tip: We stayed in bungalow 23 which I found really central, we enjoyed the stroll to and from our room.

First point, staying at Club Letoonia is a bit of a walking holiday, I came home fitter than when I first arrived, not a bad thing! The hotel is spread over all of the hills on a small peninsular that sticks out into the bay, opposite Fethiye town. You walk everywhere, though there are four Funicular lifts around the resort to help with the climbs. It all reminded me a bit of ‘The Village’ in the original 60's Prisoner TV series.
I asked for a room in the main block but I am pleased they gave me one up the hill behind the main hotel in Block E. My room (E 1801) was all right as a single room but it would have been a bit tight on space for two people. Also it was very dark and you need a light on most times of the day. It was not new as the complex is about 25 years old but the room was all well decorated with a good shower, balcony and its own air-con unit. On the plus side it was very quiet being a long way away from the nightly entertainment that is available down in the centre of the peninsular. I believe there are different sizes of apartments depending on what you are paying, as with most things in life!
Everywhere is very clean and they work hard to keep it that way. I was there in early June and it was not too hot but I believe it can get very hot later in the year. There didn't seem to be any mosquitos either when I was there. There was a good mix of people, older English couples plus Russian, German and English families.

Points in no particular order
The resort is all inclusive, there is plenty of bottled water available everywhere and your room is also kept well stocked.
Tuborg Beer and the white wine was very drinkable but that is all down to personal taste.
Very good free WiFi in most of the restaurants and bars plus the main hotel lobby.
Everywhere is very clean with gardens being worked on and watered all the time.
About £5pp return for the ‘water bus’ into Fethiye town but the last one back is at 19.30, so no good for an evening in town.
About £10pp to go to one of the three a la carte restaurants, Fish, Sushi and Kebab, well worth a try.
The main ‘Lykia’ restaurant provides a buffet for all three meals each day, it can get crowded and noisy but the staff work very hard to keep it all going there is a very good choice each day.
The ‘Marina’ restaurant does breakfast and lunch buffets, it’s smaller and more pleasant, in my opinion.
In the evening the ‘Moonlight’ restaurant is the place to be, also in the evening there is an open area in front of the ‘Lykia’. It is nice but there is not that much space, you go up and get your food from the main part of the restaurant but it does have its own bar.
Each restaurant has its own bar plus there are other bars around the complex that are open all day, as is the one in the lobby of the main block, it’s very nice with the air-con running.
As I said, lots of bars all around the complex and I think there is always at least one open, the same with snacks.
Lots of activities and entertainment happening all most all of the time, but you can easily get away from it if that’s not your thing.

Letoonia is great with Incredible beaches but the one with dolphins is my favorite. There is an A la carte Restaurant on the same beach and the tables are almost in the water. Don't miss it!!! The rooms in villas are not so perfect and without balcony but the view is unforgettable. You must visit the disco located under the lighthouse.

This is a great place to stay if you have children ( I don't understand people who say its like Butlins its not). Yes there are a lot of Russians but they keep to them selves and as always you get a few "chavs" from the UK but this is always going to happen at school holiday times. I have never done an AI before having children and wouldnt go to a place like this with out children. However it did not seem over run with children and lots of space .
We where a family of 5 and had two rooms next to each other with a balcony- the only issue was the room was at the top[ of 16 steps (not so easy with a twin buggy) and the hotel staff did not seem to get this was a hassle...That was the only negative- large rooms nice balcony kept spotless by the hard working cleaners. In general the staff could not have been more helpful- always very friendly (helped that we had two babies loved the cuddles given by the staff) Our 5 year old was in and out of the kids club and had the time of her life. Beaches clean and sandy ( spent most of our time there) . Restaurants good (food as expected at an AI) we did the Sushi restaurant and regret not doing the other 2 al cart ones ( extra charge but very good).
All in all a great holiday and we will go back.

4 adults and2 boys aged 11/12, 11 nights 26 may. From Manchester, beautiful gardens and very tidy, not very happy with accommodation as it was a bit dated and no balconys! ( u block) we asked for a move because the cleaners dumped all the cleaning items outside our front doors, after 6 nights they moved us near dolphin beach, these rooms had been refurbished ,,they were outstanding and had balcony! The pools spotless! Plenty sunbeds the entertainment team excellent! The main resteraunt was quite hectic and they were quite slow at setting/clearing the tables! The moonlight resteraunt was top class, the hotel resteraunt was a lot more peaceful and very good. The fish resteraunt on dolphine beach was 5* and worth the £9 each supplement! Plenty going on around the pool, 2 good pool tables ( free ) good bars, tuborg larger! Shwepps tonic water, ferry to fethiye every hour 14 lire return, taxis expensive, around £10 each way. One thing you must do if you like fish , is go to the fish market in fethiye where you choose your fresh fish, buy it, then they take it to your choice of resteraunt and cook it for a £2 per head charge, beautiful. I would recommend letoonia as a fab holiday complex we had a lovely holiday, but you need a balcony!

Room Tip: The hotel has been refurbished , that is 5 star! Some rooms on the complex don't have balcony s...

Friends booked this for a 50th birthday celebration and we were delighted with the resort. It is a large resort which is well planned and beautifully maintained. The staff were helpful and polite and the food was very good, nicely presented and very enjoyable. There were plenty of sunbeds spread around the resort and lots of activities throughout the day if you wish.

We had a bungalow as opposed to a room in the main hotel. These were basic and clean. The fridge on arrival had fruit juice and water but after day one, only water was replenished. The stairs are quite steep, there are elevators to certain points but you might still face a bit of a climb to get to your room depending on position. You do have to be fairly fit to manage the stone steps!

There are quite a few areas to eat. The Moonlight restaurant is fabulous in the evening, with great views and buffet style food. There is enough of a choice to please most people. There are other restaurants where you can pay a reasonable cost to eat (I think 10 dollars) but drinks are extra in these restaurants. The food in the Moonlight and the main dining hall was good so we didn't feel the need to pay extra. There are places to eat at the beach with a good choice available.

If you wanted premium drinks there was an extra cost. We found the drinks available were fine and the cocktails that were included in the all inclusive package were good.

The evening entertainment was fun with either live bands, or dancing on the beach or with a show in the small arena area.

The spa is amazing and a Turkish bath is a must, we also had a full body massage, very relaxing, and you are allowed to use the showers and steam room if you are leaving the resort late in the day, which is useful.

A beautiful well maintained resort, with good staff and would definitely visit again.
