Alarga is impressive if you seek amazing roof top views over Fethiye bay. They are on a roof terrace and decor is in subdued tones with tables well spaced for privacy providing a relaxing ambience, The table linens were fresh and the place was spotless. I have been waiting to get an opportunity to try it. I ordered the sea bass rolled with prawns for main dish, which appealed from their well selected menu and promised a saffron and parmesan sauce and garnished with seasonal vegetables and apple sliced potatoes. A fresh, crisp white Semillon/ Sultaniye complimented the meal beautifully. My disappointment was the tiny portion of fish roll served - I could understand if Nouvelle cuisine style flavour but this was meager and covering sauce barely hit the plate, subsequently the dish was a little dry in texture and actually more potato wedges on plate than the main! I hope Alarga will remedy this - for prices charged I feel they ought to give more than one sea bass roll in this dish.
I must add though waiting staff were attentive and professional. At end of the meal, the manager took steps to recompense after they learned of my disappointment, so they have scored excellently for customer service in my eyes. I wouldn't give up on this place and would eat there again as the menu selection is appealing, they offer lots of seafood and steaks. I have heard their fillet steaks are worth trying. Also, if you are on business its a lovely place to close a deal perhaps over a glass of wine and indulging in a tasty cheese plate.
