“Another fantastic holiday”

Fourth stay at the Oykun and no doubt we will be back next year. Food and drink prices have gone up a bit in the Hotel and resort but Dolmus and water taxi still the same. The Hotel is lovely and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast typically Turkish but there is always plenty of variety so even the fussiest of eaters are well catered for. My only gripe is that there should be a handrail on the steps into the main pool. Many people struggle getting in and out as there is nothing to hold on to and it is only a matter of time before someone falls and seriously hurts themselves. I have mentioned this before but it seems to fall on deaf ears. I also think that some of the linen could do with replacing, our bedspread had been patched up and some of the towels were a bit old and frayed. Calis is a lovely resort and there are some great restaurants, Nil Bar, The Kerim, Er-Oz and The Mosaic in Fethiye to name but a few. The Hamsi Bar on the front is excellent, great lunchtime snacks and the perfect place to have a drink at night and watch the spectacular sunset. What more can you want?

Room Tip: There are no lifts so if you have difficulty with stairs ask for a ground or first floor room.

Second time at the oykun and it was as we remembered it, Goldie on reception deserves a very special mention, nothing was too much trouble and always a smile, the boys in the bar very friendly and attentive. the pools were wonderful to sit and while away the days and then back to the exceptionally clean rooms (big hand to the cleaning ladies).
Hoping to go back again next year...............Fabulous time

This was our 2nd stay at the Oykun and it didn't disappoint. The rooms are spacious and clean and you have maid service every day. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff especially Goldie and Freddie. This hotel is in the perfect location as you are minutes from the beach, water taxis and the strip. The best places to eat was Meeting Point, Barbella and Brothers. If you do make it over yo Fethiye then I would recommend The Duck Pond restaurant. Overall we had a fab holiday and this hotel and the staff all deserve 5 stars

Our first visit to Oykun Horel, Calis Beach and after being in various resorts and hotels in Turkey over the past 14 years I can honestly say that the Oykun Hotel has to be the best we have been to.

The hotel and the rooms are absolutely spotless, the staff are wonderful and can't do enough for you, breakfast is buffet style with plenty choice each day, loved the omelette made however you want it, or the pancakes in the morning, along with fresh fruit, fab!.

Freddy and Eddie in the bar are great, lovely friendly guys who always remember what you like to drink and love to chat and have a laugh with you. Bora is a great guy too as well as Eddie's brother who's name I can't remember, sorry!
The resort of Calis is lovely, the restaurants at the beach are fabulous and the perfect place to watch the sunset every night, a sight you will never forget. Our favourites were, Nil Bar, owner Angel makes you so welcome and she is a lovely lady, we usually always go to Turkish restaurants but Bella Mamma, one of the best Italian restaurants ever, is definitely worth a visit, and Brothers, which is on the Main Street off the beach front.

If you want disco blaring music and lots of nightlife then Calis is not for you, however if you want a beautiful resort with great restaurants and bars, friendly people and great value for money with the most spectacular sunset and Fetiyhe just a boat trip away then you will love it.

Just returned from a week's stay at the Oykun. It's a relaxing hotel with very attentive staff, Goldie on reception and Freddie at the bar deserving special mention. The hotel is basic but exceptionally clean, and the two pool areas are a great way to while away the day.

The Oykun is in a great location in Calis, away from the main street but close enough to get to the seafront and water taxi easily. Breakfast is buffet style, with plenty of choice. Clean sheets every day were an unexpected treat.

Just stayed at the oykun for a week with a group of 17 people ranging from 16 years to 79 years. It is a great hotel...rooms are well maintained and always spotless. The food served both at breakfast and if you eat there in the evening was tasty, a good variety and good value. The pool and bar areas are always clean and all the staff are exceptionally helpful and polite. They can't do enough for you, especially Freddie and goldie.
I would recommend this hotel to all ages. It is near the main town area of challis beach so the shops are readily available. Whilst staying at the hotel we had some great trips.....an island cruise, the sunset cruise and the mud baths/ turtle beach trip. All were excellent. Some of the other members of the group went quad biking, on a jeep safari and scuba diving. All the trips were enjoyed immensely. Will be visiting again soon.

Room Tip: All rooms in both building were lovely.

Our fourth visit to the Oykun and everything was first class as usual. Goldie on reception is a treasure and always ready to help with advice. She explained how we could get the Dolmus to Kaya Village. It was a good trip and cost us 7TL each way.
Freddie on the bar is lovely and will always take time to have a chat with you.
The best lunches we had were at the Oykun and same price as anywhere else in resort
We went to the barbecue evening . £10 each and a superb buffet.
We prefer rooms in block 1 as they have a bath. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Even the cleaners are friendly and always have a smile for you and speak.
Try the Turkish Bath. It is lovely and relaxing. Also had a reflexology massage
One last tip change money at the hotel same rate as in resort
Thank you to everyone at the Oykun for a lovely holiday
