We had a ten day stay at the Harman and it was one of the most delightful hotels we have ever stayed in. This is not a luxurious hotel but is very comfortable. The rooms are not that big but are cleaned every day and the bathrooms are spotless. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and can't do enough to help you. The service was second to none. The food was good and we ate outside some nights which was also very nice. The hub of the hotel is at the pool bar where Ferhat and Fico the two barmen kept everyone entertained.

The hotel is a short walk from the beach and near to bars and restraunts. There are dolmus stops yards from the hotel and you can very easily visit lots of places from Calis.

We read reviews before going there and knew what to expect. We liked how quiet and safe the hotel was. The general atmosphere was great, and we thought the other guests were really very very nice and lovely which added to our stay. The rooms are quite small but it does not really matter since you come to spend time outside, not inside. I always bring my laptop with me for work, and I was very glad to have a free wi-fi with good speed available in the room. I did not really like evening entertainment when there was some, that's why I could just return to my room after dinner and work before going to bed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. You could always have a good chat at the bar. The only thing we really did not like was the food whether it was breakfast or evening. I am not too picky but there were only a few dishes to choose from, especially at breakfast. I was hungry most of my stay there. We noticed some people had dinners outside the hotel but we did not want to spend extra money considering we already paid for HB. We just bought some fruits/cookies/ice-cream in the nearest stores, and it helped a bit. Overall, we had a relaxing vacation, and it did not cost us big money. If the food was better, we would consider returning there!

We stayed at the Harman Hotel for 5 nights. Our corner room overlooked the courtyard with a large pool and a very pleasant sitting lounge/bar area. We had most of our meals at the hotel. At night the buffet style dinner was quite rich in variety and very tasty. The lunches we ordered in the outdoor lounge/bar area were also very good. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet even though there were large tour groups every night during this off season. The pool was not open yet, it being March, but I am sure it would be very pleasant in the summer time. The staff was very friendly, helpful, organized and very well mannered. The hotel is located outside centrum in a quieter neighbourhood of Fethiye with easy access via a short ride (about 15-20 minutes) on a public minibus system. Within a short walking distance is the Calis beach area with many restaurants and pubs.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay at Harman and would not hesitate to go back.

We went off season (beginning of January) and for some of the days we were the only guests in the hotel, which affected the quality of services (e.g. breakfast). Yet the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was small and a bit cold. Quiet location but close enough to shops, beach and public transport.

Stayed at this hotel last year for the first time but have been visiting Calis beach for the past 8 years. The hotel is lovely, ideal location, it's walking distance to the front with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.

You can also get the bus into Fethiye town where you can get connecting buses to Olu Deniz if you fancy visiting a different beach.

The rooms are basic but ours was cleaned daily so no complaints.

Staff are lovely - Celel (known since out first visit to Turkey) & Murhat in particular. It was very hot whilst we were staying here and the bar staff brought around ice to people sat on there sun loungers.

Adequate sun loungers, lovely pool area with a childrens pool also.

I never made breakfast often as i'd rather have a lie in so can't comment there. My sister and I would normally have lunch at the hotel - basket of chicken and chips which was normally enough for us both. Family have ate during the evening and love the food here.

Prices are also very reasonable at the hotel.

Overall lovely hotel, location and people.

If you would like any more info please don't hesitate to ask.

We had booked another hotel through Travel Republic but was bumped to the Harman. As it was only for 1 night and we weren,t fussed about a sea view, we accepted the change of booking.
I read the reviews on here and went expecting a warm and friendly place.
We were so disappointed - the lady on reception was abrupt and unfriendly. The reception area was dark and unwelcoming.
The room we were given in B block was not clean. There was dust tumbleweed all over the bedroom floor. One of the blankets was not at all clean. The room was very cold.

When we went out for dinner we asked if the heating could be put on in the room. On our return the room was barely warm.

During the night there was the most awful smell coming from the bathroom drains. Plus all through the night a generator/pump was going.

Breakfast was a very shabby affair. We had to ask for plates and cups for the coffee. The cheese was dried up and curling and there were no eggs left. The bread was stale. Breakfast was between 8 -10am and we were there at 8.20am so hardly late.

I mentioned some of the above on leaving and it was met with just a shrug.

Certainly wouldn,t stay there again and would discourage others from doing so.
