We spent 7 nights in Harman Hotel on October (HB package). We got double room in the main building. I chose this hotel mainly because of the location, very reasonable price and recommended HB. Overall - we liked our stay. :)

Hotel has a good location: walking to Çalış beach takes about 10 min, to nearest dolmuş stop about 2 min. The area wasn't noisy (the main street is a block away) and seemed to be safe.

Our room was fine. There was enough room for two persons and a small balcony. Only "minus": no fridge. We didn't use AC - it was October and there was no need for that. The pool was clean (cleaned every morning) and great to swim.

Breakfast was OK. Loads of olives, bread, different cheese-cereal, jams etc, as well as usual juice-coffee-tea-milk. The menu wasn't changed a lot during our stay. The dinners, otherwise, were outstanding. 3-4 main dishes every evening (different or largely modified), many salads, olives-cheese... Still, at dinner time the drinks, even water, weren't for free (and the prices were far from cheap).

Special "Thank You" goes to Ahmed from the reception. He made us feel like at home from the first moment we checked in. When we had arrived (in the middle of the night) arranging something to eat, during the next days helping to get a good price from a tour company, talking about Turkey's history ... wow. :)

Room Tip: Rooms with the view to the pool area.

A good quality hotel where we stayed on a B & B basis, but you can buy lunches from the pool bar at very reasonable prices and with a good variety and you can eat evening meals there too.

There is a 10-15 minute walk into the centre which is littered with bars and restaurants, mainly authentic Turkish.

All the ones we ate at offered a good choice at good prices, starters from £2 and a fillet steak for £10, with a nice wine for a similar price.

There is a 20 minute water taxi for 5tl across the bay to Fetiyhe, try buying your own fish in the fish market and then taking it to a restaurant for them to cook it any way you want.

My boyfriend and I booked the Harman based on the reviews on this site and we weren't disappointed.
The hotel was a lovely little building situated about 5 minutes from Calis beach with great rooms and a fab pool.
The breakfasts were tasty but a little limited and the bar rates were a little more pricey in comparison to the bars on the strip.
The pool was lovely and clean with enough sun beds to suit everyone, however the need to have to reserve your bed each morning was a little frustrating.
The rooms have everything you need with a good shower and pretty little balconies. The only downside was how hard the beds were with scratchy sheets to match. The air con was easy to use and completely worth the £20 for the week!
Overall this was a great hotel choice with helpful, friendly staff.
Fully recommend for the price and location! :)

Stayed here for the first time mid-late July 2013 with my Girlfriend. The tripadvisor reviews and ratings were the reason we chose this hotel in the end. The location is good, not too near to the main drag and the beach to get noise etc, but still only 5 mins walk. Hotel itself has all you need, the rooms are small-ish but clean and functional. The staff were all extremely friendly, a few stand out ones were Ahmed, and the ladies on reception. Ahmed helped book us a Turkish bath and dealt with our excursions, and arranged it all with Taxi services from the hotel, so all we had to do was wait in reception. On this note I must recommend you speak with Ahmed and let him arrange the boat trip from Fethiye Harbour which takes in the 4 islands, it is amazing, and ridiculously cheap, you will not regret it. The reception staff couldn't do enough for us. Also a big thanks to the staff for arranging my surprise birthday cake. The Bar is the real hub of this place, everyone gets a warm welcome whatever time of day you arrive. Ferhat and Fiko between them run it very well, and always have time for a chat. The food in the hotel is nice, quite similar each evening but hearty and tasty, the breakfasts are cooked well, plenty of choice etc. Would we go back, Yes we would. Thanks again Ferhat (Paul & Nicola)

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the central pool/bar area

The Harman is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard with bedding and towels changed every other day. The grounds and communal areas are maintained to an exceptional standard. Although most guests (including us) went through the rigmarole of placing towels on sun loungers this was not necessary as there are plenty to go around. We found all the staff to be incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is in a quite location but is only five minutes walk from Calis. There is a regular bus into Fethiye with the bus stop a 2 minute walk away from the front door. The food at the Harman is of a high standard but there are also countless restaurants to choose from in Calis and Fethiye. This was our first visit to the Harman but it will definitely NOT be our last, although it may well be the last time we would spend only a week here. There is an additional charge for a safe, as is the norm in most complexes, but there is also a charge for air conditioning in the rooms. However, the charge is minimal and was well worth the few Lira it cost (approx £28 for the week).

We found this hotel to be an excellent value for the money. It is a 2 minute walk to catch a bus into Fethiye (which takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic) and a 5 minute walk to the Calis Beach Promenade (which has approx 50 restaurants to choose from and a beach to swim).

What we enjoyed most about the hotel was the smaller quaint feel. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, from reception to the wait staff. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was nice with fresh yoghourt, eggs, meats, cheeses, olives, fruits and breads. The pool is a good size with plenty of lounge chairs. The hotel has a great local bar that is reasonably priced with Efes on tap.

Those expecting large well appointed rooms may be disappointed. The rooms ran a little on the small and dark side. However, it didn't affect our vacation as we don't spend the majority of our vacation in a room. It was clean, the air conditioning worked, and the shower had strong hot water.

We have stayed at larger hotels and resorts throughout our travels, and you miss the local feel and individual attention that you get at places like the Harman. To us, places like this help make a vacation unique and memorable. We hope to return in the future!

Room Tip: We were in block C and had a nice view of the pool and surrounding hotel pool.
