“Amazing!!”
Reviewed 24 June 2014 via mobile

Being able to see this old village/town was amazing. Makes hair on back of your head stand up. 8yr old thought it was wonderful especially when tour guide told us the history. A must visit when in Turkey. ♡♡

very nice little town, people are welcoming and friendly. We ate homemade ice cream and the peach flavor is out of this world!! we hiked to the top of the mountain and had a great view on the village and the fortress

Visited Kayakoy on our quad safari trip. A lovely place, now known as the Ghost village. We werent there long on the first trip so when we hired our own quad later on in the holiday we went back to have another look, very enchanting and traditional little village! Well worth a visit!!

“Fascinating Village”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

This is an atmospheric place to visit

It is fascinating to walk around with the knowledge that until 1923 people living here were given three days notice to leave their houses permanently. The families of some of the people would have lived in this area for generations.

The village would benefit from more information boards and possibly guided tours providing information on life in the village.
