“A fantastic holiday”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

Brilliant hotel. Approximately 45 mins drive from dalaman airport and 15 out of fethiye. There is a transfer bus which costs next to nothing as well as regular public dolmus buses. The hotel grounds are beautiful...gardeners always tending to the plants. Food great and served pretty much all day. Great selection and catered for all ages. Great range of drinks on all inclusive too. Hotel perfect for couples, older folk and families with young and older children. 2 pools with - one with water slides and fun activities for older kids and adults and one perfect for babies and toddlers....my little girl didnt want to leave it! Spa treatments available on site too and a hairdresser. Kids play park and a fully equipped air conditioned gym. We will be going back as it really was fab.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor if you have a buggy.

Had an amazing time, the choice of food was really good especially the 3 a la carte menus. The traditional Turkish cuisine was delicious. A good choice of excursions at reasonable prices. The room was very clean and very nice. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed in a Club room (block 12) which was perfect. Very spacious for the five of us, close to all the amenities. Entertainment team were great especially Suni, who ran the teenage club. Best barman was Yusuf, he was always smiling. Food was excellent, a great variety and cooked well, queues were quite lengthy and Russians were very rude, pushing in when everyone else had been waiting for their food. Help yourself to the bottle of wine you like from the winery on your way in to the restaurant. The Turkish restaurant is well worth a visit. The snack bar was brilliant and served delicious pizza and donuts. Pool, Slides and beach were kept really clean and we had a great time at all of these. Sea was lovely and warm and we had fun but the beach was pebbly which was uncomfortable, water shoes would be recommended, these can be purchased at the shopping centre in the resort. The gardens were kept beautiful. Weather was really hot so a shaded sunbed for us was perfect. Wi-Fi only available in reception. We loved taking part in the hotel club dance several times a day. We were looking forward to spending time at the swim-up pool bar, which unfortunately was no longer in use. The evening entertainment was average, but the entertainment team putting in so much effort every day makes up for this. Every Tuesday there was a market in Fethiye town. We got the dolomus to this which cost 5TL each way per person. We would definitely recommend this to anyone and would love to return.

Just back from an absolutely incredible 11 days at the resort! We stayed in the park area so were near the smaller pool which we enjoyed as it was quieter. The main pool was really nice aswell but all the beds were very shaded. We sat at the majesty bar every night and it never got boring. Amazing waiting and bar staff especially Sahin, Ilkay, Yacobs, Huysein and all the others aswell. The animation team were so nice aswell and always spoke. We loved Enes and Can!! Corci from the jewellery shop was very nice aswell!

Overall we all absolutely loved the holiday and would all love to go back at some point!

Great shopping in the resort no need to venture out its all there from clothes to jewellery and handbags. In the process of booking for 2015 a massive well done to all the dedicated staff .

We booked 2 adjacent club rooms - 1 for us parents and 1 for 2 children (aged 21 and 15). The cleaner was excellent (Fathima) and the rooms were very close to the pool and restaurants. The best parts were the pool, the entertainment team, the watersports and the photography. The food was also good and the "all inclusive" part really means all inclusive. We totally got our money's worth. We would definitely recommend booking the 3 restaurants available on the nights that you don't fancy the buffet. This gives a break from the norm and the waiters are really on hand and attentive. It's nice to get served sometimes. We enjoyed cocktails, vodka / diet cokes and Baileys in quantities that would have cost us a fortune over here. Such a fun place. The man that does the main entertainment was totally great - as were all the entertainment team and the bar staff. There was just one member of staff at the beach bar that, unsupervised used to crouch down behind the bar and be permanently on Facebook on his smart phone. He responded when you said "excuse me" but it was quite funny how he used to practically crawl into the fridge to write his messages. All lovely people. Definitely would recommend - great holiday - fantastic holiday in fact.

Lots of positives, but also many negatives...
Room 1824 was possibly one of the best hotel rooms we have seen - it was top floor (three floors in total), on the end of the row and it was totally huge, with two large wardrobes, a super king-size bed and a chair that converted to a single bed for our 10yr old son (with masses of room to move around, as well). The decor was modern (with duck egg blue/brown materials and walnut effect furnishings - and a huge dresser with a flat screen TV on the wall). The bathroom was modern and we were very impressed with it all. It had all been refurbished recently, we guessed. Air con worked really well. It was close enough to the things in the main area, but far enough away to be quiet - we felt quite blessed! Small balcony - big enough to dry our things overnight (with some string and pegs we always take away with us!). The maid came daily but didn't do a great deal of cleaning - she made beds, wiped round the bathroom slightly and left us clean towels. Extra pillows would have been good!
The general environment was good to excellent - with staff working hard to keep communal areas clean and the gardens were very well kept, really beautiful in some places. I am very fussy about pool cleanliness (having suffered ear infections from dirty swimming water in the past) and was reassured to see info displayed re the water treatments and it certainly appeared very clear.
The drinks were plentiful and well chilled - Efes beer or Becks beer, mostly local spirits with one or two branded names (ie the whisky) and lots of mediocre, but drinkable, wine. Water, in bottles, in fridges always well stocked - you can help yourself! Our son loved the chocolate milk shakes, Fanta Limon and the slush drinks, too.
The main restaurant was too crowded and we nick-named it the 'bun fight restaurant' - far too much queuing and people pushing in and the food was OK, but not great. I stood in a queue for kebab meat for 30 mins one evening and was so hot I almost keeled over (my son wanted it, however, so we waited in line)! We ate two evenings in the Turkish restaurant and this was a good experience - Mustafa (our waiter, who was very efficient and friendly) and the manager here (didn't get his name, sorry) provided a great to-the-table service and the food was lovely. Delicious meze type dips and bread, cheese and salad, and a kofte for the starter, and then the main meal was spicy chicken and shish lamb kebab meat with grilled vegetables and a flavoured bulgar wheat couscous, on flat bread. This was followed by a Turkish pastry dessert. We tried the Italian restaurant one evening also - this was a good experience, but not as good as the Turkish, in our opinion.
We had lunch in the bar snack area every day and liked the fact that you could sit here in some shade for a while (we rarely got an umbrella, as we didn't get up until 7.30-8.00am to reserve sunbeds and they were gone by this time!). Freshly made pizzas are good. Mid-day shade in the pool bar was also pleasant - there is a breeze off the sea here.
Our son enjoyed some of the kids club activities and also loved the arcade - where he spent a fair amount of money on the games. He made friends with other children and tells us what a great holiday he had, so that counts for a lot to us.
The shops in the hotel were OK, enough to find a few souvenirs and buy a few bits and bobs for pool fun, branded sweets for the kids etc - not overly cheap but you can barter in Turkey for many things. And the goods were fakes, as is the norm for 'designer' stuff in Turkey!
The entertainment team do work hard, but it is all very loud and not really to our (my hubby and I)taste - although we recognise many other people love the busy-busy noisy stuff. We enjoyed the Turkish evening, with lots of dancing and music, which seemed authentic, however we found other evenings in the amphitheatre too noisy and they required guests from the audience to volunteer to make fools of themselves on stage, far too frequently. One evening early on in our holiday it was deemed quite funny, but on others it was really cringe-worthy - and one evening we left after ten minutes, as it was really awful (verging on offensive and the commentators voice was very 'shouty' and giving me a headache) and then we decided not to bother going there again after this. We have been to several other all inclusive hotels who put on much better shows, to be honest - and who will bring outside entertainers in, people who have more experience (but then I guess we have paid a lot more money for other holidays, so it possibly reflects in the price of the stay).
The sunbed and umbrella situation really wasn't good - it is very hard to get them without getting up mega-early and going to reserve them - and very frustrating when many were hardly used, even though reserved by towels. It is very hot in Turkey and some shade would have been preferred, but there just wasn't enough available.
The hotel just seemed too busy - maybe it was at full capacity and thus struggling to cope at busy times. It might want to offer more facilities - ie a quieter pool, or an adults only pool also. Perhaps another restaurant would help, also - 8pm seemed to be the most manic time. I couldn't even get any cutlery one evening, at this time of night, it was so busy! The main pool was busy also - and the park pool so far away from where we were staying, and although much more sedate it only seem big enough for the guests who were located near to it. The word BUSY sums up my holiday experience rather well, it seems - as you can see I keep using it, but I/we go away to relax a little - and escape all the hustle and bustle!
The jetty out to sea was lovely and the view from this was great. The sand is grey and it is difficult to paddle in the sea as it is a steep and rocky incline into the water (even with water shoes), so the beach didn't lure us very often. Our son enjoyed a couple of jumps into the sea from the jetty.
I got bitten by mosquitos, even though I used repellent and we had a room plug in - so take some precautions with you.
This hotel and resort does have many positives, but is too loud and 'in your face' for us, we feel, so it is unlikely we'd go again (my son would love to though!) - and I like to feel spoiled on holiday by good dining experiences and with relaxing in the sun, in an ambient environment. We also met people who loved it all - and who had been there previously - so we know it is probably a matter of taste. It was probably very good value for money, too, as it wasn't an expensive holiday, in comparison to others we've taken in the past.
Horses for courses, I suppose!

Room Tip: Room 1824 was excellent - modern, large, quiet, but close to everything!
