Me, my husband and daughter (10) have just returned from this amazing hotel. Take no notice of any reviews that may put you off - you will love it. The room was very clean and spacious enough for the 3 of us. We stayed in Park 2 which yes it is away from the main part so was quieter especially at night. I actually timed how long it took us to stroll from our room to the restaurant or main pool and it took 6 minutes. It is a lovely walk in the most beautiful hotel gardens I have ever seen and for all the people who moan about the walk - lazy!!!!!!! It is not 1000 metres away like some reviews say. I have never been to a hotel which is kept so clean. I advise having a good walk round on your 1st day to familiarise yourself with the grounds which are vast and you will find a range of different things including a pet corner (rabbits, guines pigs, chickens), tennis courts, mini golf and childrens park. The staff are so friendly and hard working. I did find alot of people being quiet rude and abrupt with staff, some bar staff speak very little english. All it takes is a 'please' 'thank you' and a smile and they will love you. Learn to say 'thank you' in Turkish and they will love you even more! Once the bar staff get to know you and your friendly with them, they get your drink ready as your walking to the bar if you have a regular drink. Animation team - well done!!!! Some of the comedy sketches at night had us crying with laughter!! Absolute genius. This hotel doesn't get other acts in for your nighttime entertainment, it is all done by the hardest working animation team i have known - and the best! Makes a change from having 'riverdance', 'abba tribute bands' and terrible magicians which is the norm at other hotels. The Spa is a must ladies. A peeling and foam rub down followed by a relaxing masage all for £20 is a bargain. Treat yourself at the beginning of your holiday and you will have an amazing tan. The dolmus bus service out side the security office is superb. We used it on 3 different days and didn't have to wait longer than 5 mins. Fethiye centre is a 30 minute ride away but is a lovely day out. Book any trips with one of the boats at Fethiye harbour rather than the hotel because it is half the price and lasts twice as long!! We did the 12 island trip with 'Oasis' and it was our best day. The food in the restaurant was delicious! Yes i understand when some people say it is repetitive but they must be fussy eaters because there was so much choice we never had a bad meal! - The liver is the best liver i have ever eaten - even my daughter loved it who doesn't like liver! There is alot of food - esp at the salad bar - which you might not know what it is , but try it, you might lke it - we did and like i say - we never had a bad meal. We only managed to book into the 'Fish Restaurant' as the 'Turkish' and 'Italian' restaurant were always booked up. Get up early if you want to book a table. The themed restaurants are set meals so check before you book. The fish restaurant was delicious and even our daughter ate all the fish - which arrived complete with head and tail! Each bar has a different speciality. The bar at Park 2 (where we steyed) serves ice creams all day long which none of the bars in the main club part do. The swimming pool here also has a climbing wall in the pool which my daughter loved. The Park pools are alot more peaceful than the main pool. The mini doughnut balls which are served at the main Majesty club bar with sugar, cinnamon and jam are to die for! What a treat! I would advise anyone who plans going on the beach to get some proper swim shoes as it is very pebbly. Mosquitoes are bad out here but the fly's bite hurts more! Ladies, don't bother packing shower gel or shampoo, they supply you with a large bottle in your room and the hairdryer is better than the one i brought which made a nice change! The only downside to this hotel is that the walls are paper thin. We did have a giggle at the couple in the next room arguing morning noon and night but were less than happy with the ignorant Germens occupying the room adjacent to ours who insisted opening their door wide every morning at 8 o'clock and having a conversation in the corridor on top note and waking all the rest of us up! However this only lasted twice due to my husband getting up and giving them a peace of his mind much to the happiness of other holiday makers! We met some lovely russian people at the hotel and will remain friends with them. The hotel is quite remote but this has been the best holiday ever and i would certainly go back. If you have booked to go to this hotel - don't worry, take on board everyone's tips and you too will have the best holiday ever!!!

The hotel grounds was very nice and the rooms was ok we was in the club rooms which was close to the main swimming pool and bar plus the main restaurant,we wouldnt have been happy if we had been put in park 1 or park 2 which was a fair distance away but they did have there own pool and restaurant. The entertainment on the nights was ok and they worked hard, the entertainment men was very fond of the young lady's regardless if they was underage or not (i certainly would'nt take my daughter there in a few years put it that way) The main restaurant was a joke it was advertised has having a childrens menu if they did i could'nt find it, had trouble feeding my 3 kids for the 2 weeks we was there, myself my husband and daughter had raw meat served to us on a number of occasions and the help yourself to food was horrid and more or less the same every night. Each meal time we would have to clean the high chairs because the waiting staff did'nt do it,but saying that they did work veryhard and was very friendly. You had to get up from 6.30 to claim the better sunbeds we used to get them on the grassed area it was less crowded and there was gazebo's there which we liked for the extra shade for our younger children. The main pool was nice and a fair size, going in there with young children you had to dodge all the older kids playing with balls in there we got hit with them on a few occasions, pool bar was nice but they serve everybodys drinks with glass not a very good idea with children everywhere a accident waiting to happen. All in all the grounds are lovely and the place is really pretty ,but the restaurant let it down for us and we would'nt go again. we did talk to people there that loved it and go every year so all i can do is let you know how we found it and hope its helpfull.

We had a great holiday at the Majesty Tuana Park in August this year. Food is supurb, the pool is huge and never crowded except for a short time in the afternoon when pool matches took place (these were great fun to watch). The beach is fairly pebbly but there is a jetty to swim off, which is great. The park is kept scrupulously clean and tidy. We didn't use the entertainment much but what we saw was good. Great having all-inclusive, we could just help ourselves to whatever we wanted. Highly recommended.

We’re a couple, both 30, Guardian-reader types (so you know what kind of angle we’re coming from!), who’ve just got back from a week Tuana. We’ve done all-inclusive before and know what we’re getting – the entertainment is always a bit, ahem, embarrassing and you don’t really get any culture of any kind on site, but we want a week of lying like starfish in the sun, of a glass of wine or a beer (free!) whenever we want them and no hassle about which restaurant to choose, but still with good food and lots of choice. Tuana achieved this for us in spades – it was lovely, and start to finish not a moment of stress or hassle or unpleasantness. Here’s everything you might need to know (and a lot, lot more…!).

Check in (in wee small hours) was prompt and polite. Our room was large and had a bath as well as a shower, and plenty of little freebies - shampoo, nail files, combs, etc, and three huge squeezy bottles of shower gel/hand wash - you don't need to take any. Beds were comfy, air con free and efficient. There was a small balcony and a mini bar stocked with water and beer. The shower was powerful and we always had hot water.

There is a children’s' pool and a large general pool which always seemed spotless and was never crowded - the bigger pool's majority is 2.2m deep, which is deep, and suited us as it kept the kids out of that bit and was quiet for floating about! There are three slides (in their own pool), for big kids like us. There is a pool bar so you can sit in the water and have a drink. There is no need to bring beach towels – they run an efficient system where you are given a towel card and exchange it for your towels. You hand these in when they are dirty (every day if you want) before 7pm, and then use your returned cards to get fresh ones when they arrive in the morning.

The site is large with well-tended grounds. There is a gym (with running machines, weights machines, free weights, steppers etc. A little tatty but air conditioned and opened 9am - 8pm) and water aerobics, yoga and aerobics daily for those who want to keep the belly at bay. There is a daily program of free air-rifle shooting, archery, boules, football, etc, and a little ‘newspaper’ is available at breakfast each day to tell you what’s on. There is a small 'zoo', with guinea pigs, rabbits and birds. The hotel is directly on its own beach (pebbly - bring jelly shoes or enter via the jetty). There are pedalos and canoes to use for free – you just ask. The jetty was lovely, with sunbeds and ladders into the sea and a diving board, and at night lit up beautifully for a quiet place away from the entertainment.

There are various bars - Poseidon, by the beach, which was always quiet; the bar in the snack bar, which was also quiet, except when sport was on! The pool bar (the above water bit!), a bar in the restaurant and one in reception. We never queued for more than 1 minute for a drink, and everything is all inclusive - all spirits, pre mixed ‘sex on the beach’ and pina colada, wine, beer, etc. The waiters are a little standoffish, but will make cocktails if you can tell them what’s in them. There was no cut off point - you can drink all the way through the night if you want! Efes, Becks and Fosters are available to self pour (brilliant!) and in the restaurant at dinner there is a big fridge of wine (white, rose, red) and you just help yourself to a glass or a bottle. There is a small outdoor disco too, which was good after a few drinks!

The restaurant: breakfast is omelettes or fried eggs, cooked to order, frankfurters, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, etc, pastries, loads of fresh and tinned fruit, yoghurts and the Turkish staples - hard boiled eggs, white cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, salads etc. There is even a 'diet buffet', so I was able to have reduced fat cheese with tomatoes and cucumber and cherries with 0% fat yoghurt. Hooray!

Lunch and dinner involved more different salads than I have ever seen in my life, rotated each night, plus about four hot meat mains such as chicken and vegetable in sauces, and (which I can't recommend enough) lamb with pureed aubergine and a white sauce, plus a selection of pastas, rices, potatoes, etc. There are always chips, and pide (Turkish pizza, yum), plus a man indoors cooking a meat on the grill every night - chicken, fish, steak or (most often) liver! Outdoors are things being cooked through the evening, different each nights - donner or chicken kebabs, little lamb burgers, whole spit roast chickens, burgers etc. There is also a huge array of different puddings and cakes. The food was good, not spectacular, but nice, and the salads were fabulous. If you are unadventurous (we saw one English couple milling about with chips and burgers and saying 'Well, we did better than last night.' Arg!) then of course you'll find it difficult, as you would anywhere - that's no hotel's fault. If you are willing to try (and there was nothing very scary) then it's great - a big choice, very fresh. My picky-ish boyfriend managed to eat like a king every night!

The turnover in the restaurant is high, and the waiters do not have time to re-lay the table. We did as others were doing – set up a table all nicely with wine, side plates, napkins and cutlery. This stops your table being taken (not that there is any shortage!) whilst you are getting your meal. This didn’t bother us at all!

There are three a la carte restaurants - we tried only the Turkish (there’s also fish and Italian). It was fab. It was lovely to get away from the throng for a night and be served at the table - we had all sorts of dips with bread, and a big lamb meatball for starters, then a plate of chicken and lamb kebabs with rice and bread and a Turkish baklava type pudding (there's no choice - you get to see the menu when you book so you can decide if it's for you, and the menu is the same for the week). The meal was lovely - we were astonished by people sending stuff back picked over. Why go, if you are scared of something as crazy as a meatball or a chicken kebab?! You seemed to be able to go as often as you liked to the a la cartes - you book at guest relations between 10am and 12pm the day before.

A mention here of two things you really ought to do while you are there - go to The Spa and (if you are a man) have a shave. The Spa is beautifully done out, with muslin-curtained massage pagodas outside, and a Jacuzzi, etc. There are a huge number of different treatments. We went for the best deal - for £20 you get a Turkish bath, where you are splashed with hot water in a big marble sauna, then exfoliated and massaged with foam. Then you get a very thorough half hour full body massage (ladies, take note - the masseurs, male or female, will take off your bikini top to do your back, and then flip you over, topless, to do your stomach! It was a bit of a shock the first time! They don't go near your breasts, but they are exposed. I presume you can ask for this not to be the case. I only wish I had known so I wasn't so panicked the first time!). Then you are led to lie down again, with a cup of tea. What most people didn't seem to realise was you could use the steam room, sauna and plunge pool (brrr!) for free after this lot. It was fabulous, and only £20! Our return flight was 3.55 am, and we had to vacate our room (or pay) by 12pm (standard procedure). The arrangement is that you can use The Spa to shower and change before your flight (well, before 8pm), so we booked in at 6pm for the Turkish bath and massage, played in the steam rooms, then used the showers etc and dressed for dinner. It was ideal – we were relaxed and clean before our flight. A note on late checkouts - you need to vacate by 12pm, or can pay £25 to keep the room until 4.30pm. This wasn't much use to us, leaving at 1am, and they would have quoted us for a 1am checkout, but we didn't want to waste the money, and were glad we didn't. There is a left luggage area in reception but it seemed to be left open all the time (there are some small – hand luggage sized - lockers but they were all in use when we were there). We changed at The Spa, had dinner and drinks and when we got worn out we went to reception (as others did) and lay on their very very comfy sofas and napped until the coach came!

The men's shave is brilliant - my boyfriend did it last time when we were in Turkey and wishes he could get this service here. You get a wet shave, with a cut throat razor (and a beard trim and very precise shave round the goatee if you have one, as my boyfriend does), side burns and back of the neck trimmed, threading round the eyebrows, nose and ear hairs trimmed and then flapped at with a lit taper (it's brilliant for getting rid of the little hairs, don't panic!) and then a head and face massage. All this for just £7, and whilst you could likely get a cheaper and more authentic experience in Fethiye itself, my boyfriend felt it was a quality service.

I've just thought to mention money. We took (unsurprisingly) Turkish Lira. You don't need to! Everything is priced in pounds, Euros and Russian dollars (the guests are English, German, Russian and Turkish, with a few Dutch). In fact, when we said we had Lira, most had to convert the £ prices to Lira on a calculator! I asked the German lady who ran the jewellery shop - she says they prefer the stability of pounds and Euros over their changeable lira, even out in the 'real world'- she has to pay her rent in Euros!

We were a bit disappointed with the entertainment – we aren’t people who really like the noisy, crowd participation, ‘My name’s Dave and I’m from ESSEX!’ kind of crap, but still, I think I would have liked it to be better. We’ve been places before where they had outside entertainers each night – hip hop dancers, etc – but this was all done by the (very hard working) animation team. There were a couple of crowd participation nights (men vs women, King of Tuana) which I really enjoyed despite myself, but the other things were between boring and odd. The last night was a long mime involving a toy maker and his marionettes…. If you have kids, or are used to this kind of thing and know you like it, then they certainly put the work in and I imagine it’s fine. We came here knowing that this place is off the beaten track (you can’t easily go anywhere) and so it was their entertainment or ‘nothing’, but that sitting around having a quiet drink and playing cards was what we wanted, and their are plenty of quiet corners (and free bars!) in which to do that.

As commenting on the behaviour of other nationalities seems to be the done thing on here (sadly), I would like to make a couple of remarks in this vein. Firstly, the hotel seemed to have a roughly even spread of Brits, Germans, and Russians, with a few Turkish people too, and the hotel does a pretty good job to cater to all of these. Staff wear badges indicating which languages they speak and the evening shows are performed in four different languages (this can be a little laborious but is a nice touch all the same). Secondly, whilst we did see a limited numbers of incidences of behaviour which was less than desirable, these came from people of all nationalities. We had no problem with queuing or sunbeds at any point in our holiday (there are loads of sunbeds, provided you’re not too fussed about sitting right next to the pool, and we didn’t really want to anyway).

Quick word on location – It’s not really within walking distance of anything much, hence the 3 out of 5, though it is positioned right on it’s own beach. There is a dolmus service which runs from the hotel into Fethiye, though we didn’t bother. There’s a speedboat service from the jetty too.

All in all we had exactly the kind of time we wanted and expected, and came back relaxed and well fed. There are no self-catering (paying) customers to be served first, and no charging you after 11pm as lots of places do. There aren’t any tills, anywhere (except for the spa treatments and the watersports activities). That made for a really unpressured, relaxed atmosphere. It really is, as one site described it, ‘Ultra all inclusive’. We had a lovely time!

Thoroughly enjoyed, Fantastic Entertainment through out the day. Entertainment Team 2nd to none. All have lovely smiles and great personalities.Service was a little slow at the bars, but all staff were still very friendly and helpful. No problems with the room very clean and tidy, although they would not let us keep the room on at the end of the holiday, which was dissappointing. Saving the absolute best till last. The Spa, what can i say. You have to try it. Ceo did my massage and i felt absolutly amazing when i walked out that Spa.First Class. But they dont speak much English in there so make sure you ask for Karen. She was brilliant. Very professional. Karen is English & she explained everything about the Spa and the services they do. Me , my 2 boys aged 15 & 11 & my husband all had the Haman massage and thoroughly enjoyed by all. But you have to try it for yourself. Please do. This hotel is definitly one i will go back to. Will just have to sort better flight times next time.So there you go. Really wanted all you English to know how good this Hotel is. Well done to Ceo,Karen,Dorina,Mahmut,Compella Sunshine,Zaferinho,Hakan, Yasin,Memolee for making our holiday truly the best ever. Thanks guys. Get yourselves a pay rise lol xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Can'f fault the grounds, rooms, reception, cleanliness etc however it is a large resort so somewhat impersonal. High standard of cleanliness, pools lovely and clean although pool bars served drinks in glasses which should be a definate no no. Food ok for mass catering. The satellite restaurants had poor reviews but we only tried the Turkish so can't really comment. Adult evening entertainment very mediocre, childrens entertainment dire due to same 20 minute tape being played nightly. All made wose by the fact that the resort was very isolated and therefore no other immediate entertainment options available. Overall good value for money but don't be fooled by the overwhelming positive comments unless this is your thing!
